Here at Black Vibez on Vickery Event Center, we embrace our culture because that’s who we are; however, we love ALL. BVOV was created to provide a space that allows anyone of any race to bring their family and friends together for a time to remember. Positive and memorable moments are what we strive to create here @ BVOV. This past Friday, November 26, 2021 at approximately 5:30pm in the evening, the Day after Thanksgiving, we were shocked to receive the news from one of our local business colleagues, Mia Moss, of Black Coffee, that our building had been vandalized with GRAFFITI! A guy seen on the pictures and the videos below walked up to our building in broad daylight and placed graffiti on the front structure of our building. This is such a act of pure simplicity. A Simple minded individual. We’re only referring to our lifestyle when you see the word “Black.” Mainly through our music, because we know others, outside of our race “VIBE” (Black “Vibez” on Vickery), with our music and much more. It’s just the BLACK Experience, but not stating everyone is Black but they may have had a Black experience. We care and love everyone.
Let’s please be on the look out and make sure this doesn’t happen again in any of our communities. Thanks again Mia Moss for your dedication to the community.
