Friday, I DJ’d the 3rd annual Giggle Gala. My brother, Josh Alton, and I were awarded the Good Neighbor award for our roles in helping the Des Moines Children’s Museum raise money and promote its cause. While it is an honor to be given an award, the truth is that Julie Richards Burtnette and Laura Johnson have done a huge service to the Des Moines area by creating and curating one of central Iowa’s best indoor recreation centers for children between the ages of 0-6. If you have young kids and need an affordable daytime activity, consider the Des Moines Children’s Museum at Valley West Mall. It costs less than that other place that you’re thinking of going and your kids will be so excited to be there.

I will be on hand to host and serve as Emcee for this wonderful charity event! My brother, Josh Alton, will be performing too! It’s sure to be a blast and we always raise money for the incredible Des Moines Children's Museum!
