Help me spread the word and some cheer by liking, sharing and following Tygart Valley Santa Klaus.

Here are several public appearances in and around the area where you can find me this season.

November:

30—-Moose Lodge, Buckhannon WV, 8:00-10:00 am. “Breakfast with Santa,” a fundraiser for the Middle School Girl’s Basketball Team. I’ll be dressed in my green vest for this event.

December

5—-Freedom Bank in Belington WV, 4:00-6:00 pm. This will be my second time visiting the customers, employees, friends and neighbors of Freedom Bank. I’ll have plenty of time to visit the little ones, double check my list and hear Christmas wishes. I’ll be dressed in my red suit.

6—-Belington Shop and Save, 3:30-4:30. Visit Santa before the Belington parade. The good folks at Shop and Save will take photos and have something to share. I’ll be in my green vest for this visit.

6—-Belington Christmas parade, followed by a visit with Santa and Elf Kim at the Golden Rule building. This will be my second year visiting the good people of Belington. The Golden Rule building will be full of good, cozy cheer and I’ll stay until we visit each child.

13—A special visit with Unlocked Potential in Fairmont WV, “Sensory Santa,” 9:00-12:00. The good folks at Unlocked Potential and Good Pediatric Rehabilitation Services create a quiet, inclusive space for Santa and children to share some Christmas cheer. Reservations and fees required. Please see the flyer below. Sign up soon as this event will fill up.

18—-A Covered Bridge Christmas Music Stroll, Philippi, 6:00-8:00 pm. This is a lovely event and a fanciful setting to visit Santa. I’ll be set up under the courthouse gazebo or wandering around the music venues. Send me a pm and I’ll be on the lookout for your family.

20—-Breakfast with Santa, Barbour County Country Club, 10:00. This will be my fourth visit to BCCC! Come see what a nice place it is. Each child gets a visit and small gift. Reservation and fee required. Sign up soon because this event does fill up!

23— Santa Stroll in North Philippi. Rain date TBD. The climax of my season is to simply walk around North Philippi ringing my bells and handing out trinkets. This year, I have a full team of elves from the BCHS FBLA to help.

Please pass this along to young families and grandparents who will receive special visitors next week.

While you have grandchildren and children at home this upcoming week, have them write me a letter or postcard.

Tell your children to keep watch! Santa Klaus has practice runs with Dasher planned throughout north central West Virginia. I will soon post the places and times to visit and to ensure I have the correct names on the Nice List.

We mourn a loss of an iconic Santa. Well put, To No Extremes Photography. Thanks for putting it into words.

For eight years with my business, and for many years before, he provided myself and SOOOO many families a lifetime of memories… last year alone we did almost 90 sessions together💕

The way he talked with each child, making them smile (some cry, priceless memories) , to remind the children to help mom and dad out and get along with their siblings, lecturing the older girls to watch out for those boys - no one was too old to believe in Santa, and he never questioned who wanted to sit on Santa’s lap and tell Santa what magical wish you had for Christmas this year … just making the experience personal and perfect!

Please pray for his family during this very rough time, as well as praying for his wife, as sadly she is battling cancer as well. This will be a very rough holiday season for anyone who loved Santa Gene

Please, in honor of Santa Gene, post your favorite memory with him that I photographed for you ❤️let’s flood this page with his legacy!

Rest in peace, Santa… I am sure you are continuing your spirit with the children above ❤️
