Flowers grown to bless this beautiful bride, my daughter, at and
curated by yours truly. I loved the way they turned out, despite my being very rusty and struggling through the process a bit.
Wasn't she a gorgeous bride?!?

This adorable girl helped me harvest some very beautiful specialty Narcissus this evening! She has also offered to help me make some paper wrapped bouquets. 😁💐👏
If you notice the small green bush that I included in the slide here, this is one of my peony bushes. Last year was my first year to watch them grow, but I didn't get any blooms. Look close! It has blooms on it!!! 🙌🙏🙌
I'm kind of excited, if you can't tell. 😅

Took these pictures yesterday! Got my hands in the dirt, started some seeds, and found what will probably be my sole tulip.

After my last post, a sweet flower friend said, "no matter what: planting flowers is *always* a good idea!"

Taking her advice and planting some flowers, and it was oh, so good for my soul!

And, that last picture in the slide is documentation of how I spend about 80% of my time (only a slight exaggeration). 😅

My oldest daughter snapped this picture just after I picked this beautiful jar of narcissus, and right before I inspected the tulip bed to see why most of the tulips hadn't come up.
A closer look revealed that something, or somethings 🐭🐭🐭, used my bulbs to make it through the winter. Even the tulips that appeared to have come up were actually chewed off low on the stem and were just stems being supported upright by the dirt that surrounded them. 🤦🏻‍♀️
Last year I planted in a totally different side of our large yard and didn't have any trouble.
Needless to say, I am feeling less than chipper this evening! 💔
And a most honest report would include that I don't know where this is all going. I am seeking God's face for direction and struggling to divide myself into enough small pieces to keep everything going right now.
This is not to say that I am calling it quits, but it is to share that I haven't a clue what to tell you all to expect because I don't even know, myself. Please, include me in your prayers, as I search for a road map on this journey.
And thank you all for following along and cheering me on the way that you have!

So, I went to wrap up what I picked this morning and couldn't find my paper, for making the bouquets, anywhere!
What I was able to find were these adorable jars given to me to repurpose as vases. Aren't they cute!?!
Guess what I found right after putting these sweet little arrangements together? 🙃
These three, as you can see in the second picture, are available now at Common Grounds Cafe and Bakery!

The first pick of the season!!! Meet Double Daff Replete. She is a most feminine variety, complete with frills, and she enjoys watching the robins go to and fro.
But, her very favorite thing is gracing you with her presence and seeing you smile! She wants to remind you that warmer sunshiney days are ahead, but she says not to forget to bring a little bit of nature inside to enjoy on a rainy day!
These beauties will be hand wrapped today and available for purchase at Common Grounds Coffee Cafe and Bakery

There are only a few so don't miss out!

First wedding in the books for Grown to Bless Flower Co. What an adventure this has been!
I honestly never envisioned myself designing florals for weddings when my initial flower dreams began.
I'm so excited to see where this goes from here!

Thought you all might be curious how the junior flower farmer giveaway project played out. Slide one is a picture of Ruby's creation, slide two is Liberty's creation, and slide three, of course, the junior flower farmers themselves!
The winner's were drawn from a cup that held little pieces of paper with each of the nominees written on them, the old fashioned way. 😁
Both of the delightful girls that were drawn got to receive their flowers at school, which I feel like made it extra special!
Hopefully we will be able to do this again next year!

💐Giveaway!!!!!
With the season quickly winding to a close, I am remembering an unfulfilled promise. I promised my Ruby-doo that we would do one last giveaway.
She had the idea of doing a junior flower farmer giveaway! She would like to make an arrangement to be gifted to someone young like herself.
We are asking that you enter this giveaway with a child in mind! The neat thing is, you can enter for as many kiddos as you would like. The catch is that if one of your nominees wins then you are responsible for handing it off to the winner.
In order to enter you must like this post, and tag a friend!
For each friend you tag in the comments also include a child's first name.
For example, my comment could look like...
(Ruby)
The giveaway will end on Friday night at 10 pm, our time, of course, and the winner will be announced Saturday morning!
Let the tagging begin! 😁💜💐

I wanted to share these adorable baby shower arrangements that I made last week, and also take the opportunity to shed light on what hiring me to do florals for your future events would look like. Booking for an event will require a $150 minimum order with a $150 deposit to be applied to the overall service.
I would serve as your custom designer, doing my best to bring your overall vision or flower dream to life! Commercial flowers would come into play a bit, but I would also use creativity and resourcefulness as a tool to create something uniquely beautiful!
Events might include, but are not limited to, showers, parties, weddings, product launches, receptions, meetings and ceremonies.
Thank you all so much for the continued support and swaying with me as my business evolves in different directions.

I have put off making this post. I guess you could call it procrastination. 😏
While Fall is definitely my favorite, it comes with a bittersweet weight to it. We are fastly approaching the end of our growing season!
Because I primarily use my own materials, this means most things shut down for Grown to Bless Flower Co..
This paper wrapped bouquet pictured is available at Pine and Picks. It will be one of the last of this growing season!
I will be available for events during off-season, so feel free to contact me if you have an event that is in need of custom florals.
Thank you all for the support, and encouragement throughout the 2021 growing season. I feel very blessed to be a part of this amazing community!!
