Here's an invitation to join a live concert this evening organized by Ivory Gutter co-founder, Christos Vayenas of the Autumn Salon. The concert benefits the musicians who find themselves with limited work in these difficult times. When life gets back to normal, the Ivory Gutter will unveil the wondrous and wild occasions we've cooked up for the fall and winter, featuring vampires, masquerade tango, and ball-gown bowling, all with performances by some of the best classical musicians in New England. Keep your eyes peeled on The Ivory Gutter for forthcoming collaborations between Old as Adam and the Autumn Salon.

Thank you to the Gothic Baroque String Trio, the Beacon Hill Friends House, and Groupmuse for a delightful Halloween concert in Boston last night. The Ivory Gutter transformed the mansion’s fin de siecle ballroom to fit the spooky spirit of the evening’s program of Hadyn, Zorn, Slavic and Romani-inspired music, and unnerving improvisation. Next year, we invite you to attend a still creepier and grander affair, our re-animated Vampire Ball, which yesterday evening’s concert replaced due to cursed venue complications.

Follow along for more intimate and eccentric Ivory Gutter events in the works for the Boston area this winter, including another gathering planned for this marvelous space on Beacon Hill.

Join us tomorrow for a Halloween concert on Beacon Hill featuring the Gothic Baroque String Trio, which will perform a spooky serenade of haunted Haydn, Slavic and Romani-inspired music.

A stately brownstone on Beacon Hill is the setting for an evening of soul-stirring music and blood punch. Bring your own libations if you so desire. Festive attire encouraged.

The music for the evening was arranged for our cursed Vampire Ball (put off until next year due to complications with the location). The Ivory Gutter — which is to say, Christos and Adam — will host and curate the spooky Beacon Hill event, featuring the talented musicians of the Gothic Baroque String Trio. We dread seeing you there.
