Usually I prefer to keep colors in my videos closer to natural, but sometimes I’m down for some experiments. Just like in this video, which we filmed with Tyler and Tori! It looks kinda... cinematic, don’t you think? 😀

Another awesome wedding from San Diego! Fun fact: I had troubles with AirBnB a day before the wedding, but it didn’t stop me from coming to celebrate with Rachel and Josh and get some nice shots. And beautiful surroundings and incredibly beautiful couple made my job so much easier 😀

So I used to travel a lot… like..A LOT, for weddings before, and I’ve done some in California, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Florida, Virginia, Maryland, DC, New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Hawaii, and probably some other states I forgot to mention. I dramatically reduced the amount of travel since last year because it was pretty exhausting, and sometimes it was hard to book back-to-back weddings due to the distance. However, I’m still down to film some distant weddings from time to time because it’s always an awesome experience. Like this one! Melina and Drake got married in La Jolla in San Diego, CA, and it was a lot more than just perfect! First of all, Melina and Drake are just beautiful people, inside and out. Second, just look at this location! Third, we got a TON of time to take some great photos and videos of the couple, and from my experience, I can tell it doesn’t happen too often. And of course, there were great people around! Amazing vendor team and great venue (again, just look at it!), food, and all the other vendors who helped to make this day perfect. So for weddings like this one I’m ready to travel anywhere 😉

So, speaking about song selection, after watching this video, you’re probably thinking, "Wow! That's a great song selection! They got married in Arizona, and this song is about some love story from Arizona! Great job!". Well, I can’t take any credit for it here, because it’s THEIR love story, and this song was written and recorded JUST for Laci and Devon! Isn’t that cool?! I will definitely do the same thing for the wedding I planned for myself, but I have to at least find a girlfriend first 😬
So yes, it was the wedding in the Arizona desert. Laci is very cute and looks stunning, and Devon is like one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met! Seriously, it takes some time to make a connection with the couple, and pretty often it’s a little harder with grooms (or maybe it’s just me), but when I first met Devon on their wedding day, he greeted me like I was his old friend! Anyway, enjoy some warmth of Arizona spring during this can’t-wait-to-be-over icy winter 😀

Believe it or not, but finding a song for the wedding video takes some effort too. Sometimes I need just five minutes to find the right one, but other times I can keep scrolling for up to two hours with no result 🤷🏻♂️ That’s because I pay much attention to the lyrics, rhythm, and how the song reflects the wedding I’m currently working on. So I came across the song from this video a few times, and it’s a great song! But I couldn’t use it because of the lyrics; it’s very religious and won’t fit every wedding. And then I met Amanda and Chris last summer! This couple is extremely good-looking, and they have very deep faith, so this song fits perfectly! (I’m 100% sure because Amanda approved lol) Like this post if you agree! 😉

Well, this wedding season was extreeeemely busy 😃 Which is, of course, definitely a good thing, but it makes it hard to manage all my social media. Now I'm catching up and will post more videos I've done this year, starting with this awesome wedding in Estes Park, Colorado 😎
