Looking for a simple & classic way to take care of assigned seating? We’re fans of the laser cut name cards 🤩 They’re dainty, customizable & can also be a keepsake for your guests!

Bonus tip for when you pass off your decor items to your coordinator: keep them grouped by table & in order of placement - we appreciate it so much & makes the placing A LOT more seamless!

Rooted Hearts wouldn’t be what it is today without some of our old friends 🫶🏽

I’m Tempe, the other original founder and creative director of Rooted Hearts!

Event planning has always been something I’ve loved and after being in SO many weddings and recently getting married myself, weddings have truly become my favorite. It’s such an honor to get to help make one of the most memorable days of someone’s life come together seamlessly!

Outside of event coordinating, I love spending time in nature, practicing yoga and reading. Anything that involves great food, family and dancing—I’m there for. And weddings always have those three components!

Rounding out our team, we can’t forget about our true rockstars when it comes to day of - Alexis & Kirstyn! They are our ‘Jills of All Trades’ & really hold down the right now while we’re prepping for the next part! They truly are gems we are SO LUCKY to have!

What’s something you’re celebrating from 2022 to 2023? Ours was the ability to grow our team!

Hi loves! I’m Sady, the newest addition to Rooted Hearts. What started as a hobby — from planning & executing personal parties and planning my own wedding, RH became the icing on the cake!

It is an honor to be able to do something for others that also fills my cup — using my organizational skills and my niche for attention to detail, becoming a part of RH has truly come full circle for me.

In my free time, you can catch me with my husband & son, navigating through this thing called life.

I’m looking forward to working with you & coordinating the party of your dreams!

It’s been a while, so let’s get reacquainted!

I’m Kandice, one of the original Creative Directors & Founders of Rooted Hearts. RH is near & dear to my heart for many reasons, the main being coordinating events truly is a passion for me!

Outside of coordinating, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my nieces & nephews. If you ask anyone close to me, they’ll tell you I show up for them to everything - dance, football, school awards, all of it!

I can’t wait for this year & to work with all of the wonderful clients we’ve booked so far! We have space for a few more clients on our 2023 calendar, so if you’re thinking of hiring a Coordinator, send us a message & let’s get that consult scheduled!

A bridal suite that has its own vibe will ALWAYS be a plus at any venue! A beautiful place to get ready, regroup, and refresh is always welcomed 🫶🏽 Added bonus - these provide great spaces for the newly married couple to have a few moments alone to soak in all that is your wedding day!

Simple elegance is the base at & we love how the space can be transformed to exactly what you’re looking for (especially with an open vendor policy 😉). Brick walls, glass windows & tons of open space, it’s definitely a gem.

Let’s chat about the beautiful in the gorgeous Suisun Wine Valley.

Mix winery with intimate space & you’ll come up with Tolenas Winery! From ceremony area and social hour, to dinner seating (plated, might we add) and of course the dance floor (!), invite your guests to experience their tasty wine (we were big fans of the Sauvignon Blanc) while celebrating your special day!

Detail photo to capture the little [big] things should be on your ‘must shoot’ list for your photographer (tbh most photographers already plan for this 😉), so be sure to keep a clean copy of your invitation suite specifically for this.

Added bonus - you can incorporate it to a pressed display with those gorgeous 💐 after your special day! Plus, we know a gal we can refer you to when the time comes 💛💛

For those who have been with us from the beginning, Tempe & I have individually thought, later turned collaborative planning, into what is now Rooted Hearts. From that lovely day in March 2020 (yes, it really was March 2020) when we decided to purchase our domain, to putting everything on hold while we, along with the world, sorted through ‘That Which We Must Not Name’ (we’re big Harry Potter fans). Finally, May 2021 came around & we knew it was time, thus Rooted Hearts went live & we were real.

Fast forward 16 months and here we are - just a few days after Tempe’s own dream wedding to her best friend, Shaun. These two are literal peas in a pod & I, along with the rest of our team, could not be more happy for them and the next chapter in their lives!

And with every new chapter, comes new stories to tell and characters to introduce. While Tempe as a main character in our Rooted Hearts book may be ending, have no fear because she’ll continue to be part of the team and the vision we outlined together.

Temp, you’re the Alexis to my David (we’re also big Schitt’s Creek fans), and it’s apparent why our paths crossed when they did. While our next chapters may be in different books, you’ll always be a recurring character 💛 love you sister!

First stop with and a BYOB (build your own 💐) bar for all of the guests. We haven’t seen anything like this before & never realized how much we needed it in our lives!

If y’all knew how gorgeous the inside of this space is, you’d understand why this cake display gives the finishing touch! The only thing missing is the cheetah print carpet (yes, it’s 🐆, you can see a snippet in the corner, & it’s to die for 😉).

Ya’ll ain’t ready for this one! From the textures, lighting and love in this space to the incredible church ceremony 🥹

We could do this one all over again! This reception was so charming and the love from this couple and their family was absolutely contagious ❤️
