I never got a chance to meet my grandpa but having a chance to do a life memoir documentary about my grandma gave the opportunity to get to know my grandpa more than I ever have before. 🥰🥰🥰

My grandpa used to tell stories like none other. He and my grandma stayed up all night once, just talking because she was so intrigued by his storytelling 🖤

Hey Friends! I finally had enough free time to finish my grandmother's life memoir and I'm so glad we were able to capture as much as we did. I learned SO MUCH about her. You never know how long you'll have them around and these videos are priceless for generations to come. Enjoy!

I love observing the beautiful innocence of newborn babies. They have no worries about all of the chaos and sweetly depend completely on their mothers. I had the opportunity to take these photos of my new niece who has completely stolen my heart.
In the end, don’t forget about what matters most and try your best to simplify your worries.

I saw this billboard a few days ago that said, “If your hair looked like this (showed a woman with a perm) then it’s time to schedule your colonoscopy.” 😂 Man, it totally cracked me up.

Whenever I see pictures like this, I wish so badly that I had video of them so that I could get to know their personalities and sense of humor. I absolutely love seeing photos or reading journals but video just brings a whole different dimension to their lives. That’s a huge reason why I wanted to start TOLD Films, to keep a living record of our family members. How grateful I am for modern technology and the opportunity we have to capture them in a more personal way than ever before. ❤️🎥

I gave my plants a photo shoot so that they would feel better about themselves. 🥰 As weird as that sounds, I actually realized that we don’t get irritated at plants for having blemishes or imperfections. They’re doing the best they can with their current circumstances. We should feel the same about ourselves and others.
Talking about plants got me thinking about RootsTech coming up in a few weeks and how each of our family lines are so unique. Maybe your great grandfather was spunky like that first plant, or maybe your mom is calm and peaceful like that second plant. Whatever it is, they are important.

I can’t emphasize this enough. The whole point of TOLD Films is to capture those memories and experiences before they’re gone. It becomes priceless footage that can be shared with generations.
Take the time to ask an important question today to someone that you love and then just listen ❤️
