Waking up this morning and seeing a truly blessed individual staring back from the mirror fills me with gratitude. Why am I a realtor, specifically one focusing on the charm of small-town and rural properties? The answer is multifaceted, but it starts with this: God is good. Secondly, this career path has gifted me with the pleasure of meeting some of the kindest, most genuine people, many of whom I'm fortunate enough to call friends by the time we reach the closing table. And lastly, consider how I spend my days. Take yesterday, for instance. Selling a listing can mean dealing with personal items needing removal and a driveway rendered impassable. It's a situation that calls for a celebratory, calorie-laden donut before diving in headfirst. The best part is showing up late! and the sellers have been hard at it getting it done. Helping sled out the remaining items that need removing for closing. The day culminated in shared laughter and the satisfaction of a job well done.
