Less than a year ago I started followed my dreams, and through many many conversations with close friends and family I just took the leap of faith and started KP Events & Planning.

I wouldn’t be here today without the support of past clients, present clients, and future clients. I truly wouldn’t of done this without the constant push and support from friends and family! 2022 was just the beginning, I have learned more than I could have ever imagined. I have had people trust in me to put together parties of their dreams. I don’t know what could ever top 2022 but I’m ready to see what 2023 has in store.

“That’s a wrap mommy we nailed another event” 🤍

Being a mom is my number one job and some times that requires bringing my child with me for set ups… watching him watch me is the biggest reward I can get as it shows him hard work pays off, it shows him visions turned into realities, and it shows him that mommy is only crazy for a few moments until the finished product is revealed!😂

A little sneak peak of something really special happening this weekend! I am so excited and honored to be able to put together a baby shower for a very special friend. This event is really special and important to me.. 🤍🌊🏄‍♀️

Backstory: Ali came into my life almost 7 years ago during my wedding weekend cruise. Almost 7 years later and I have the honor to be putting together the shower of her dreams for her sweet baby #2!

Ali invited me to stay with the girls during her out of town wedding since my husband was staying with her husband as they are best friends. I was extremely nervous because I literally knew 2 people out of all the people there. So like always, I did what I do best.. deep dived into setting her wedding up so she didn’t have to stress. Her family and friends were so warm and inviting, and the entire time everyone kept telling me that it was my calling.. I think deep down it was the beginning of my realization that I should be doing what I do best… Event & party planning! 🤍

Flash forward, years later and after her first baby shower was altered due to Covid… Ali asked me to put something together, gave me some ideas and let me roll with it 100%. I can’t wait to share all the amazing things that have been put together to honor this sweet momma-to-be again with her precious daughter by her side and to celebrate this sweet little baby that is coming very soon surrounded by her family and close friends!!

Let me introduce myself for those that don’t know:

My name is Kayla and I am a mom of an amazing little boy, and a wife to a wonderful hard working husband. I work for an amazing local AC Company, and I run a non-profit organization which I have hosted a bunch of large community events through.

I started this business as it has been a dream of mine forever. I am always hosting events for our friends and family to have a great time. Any excuse to put something together. I am the first to jump in and help anyone that will let me who is throwing a party or gathering.

I got tired of hearing “Kayla really missed her calling” every time I hosted something, so with the support of friends and family, I jumped in and just took a leap of faith and started my own business.

I’m excited to share this journey with you and to help you with any gathering, big or small, and allow you to be a guest at your own event. I love paying attention to the small details and making your dreams become more than a “PIN on an inspiration board”.
