The summer wedding of the century! Rachel and Scott were married June 7th at ! We loved designing this wedding with Rachel. We wanted a summer look with pops of color but wanted the florals to do the heavy lifting. set us up for the win!! What a day! After months of creating on paper, the final walkthrough always pays off. 🤍

Happy March!! It’s officially the beginning of wedding season which means it’s wedding month for these two! Katie and I spent last night finalizing her floor plan + finalizing her timeline. We’re so excited to celebrate with a local couple. Fun fact, Storm and I went to high school together so to be able to join them in planning has been extra special.

We are so ready to kick off the season with them! 💗

Now bring on the warm weather, flowers, and Spring season!

I feel like I’m looking out of the window just waiting for warmer weather. We have tulips in our kitchen and Easter towels out! I love this feeling 💚

To add to my spring excitement, I just got off a meeting with & after solidifying one of the most beautiful wedding designs we’ve ever created!! We’re enjoying getting to know all of our new clients and seeing the vision they have.

Spending time discussing blooms makes me dream back to this spring design at 💐

So so many good things going on around here I can’t stand it!!

One of the best moments of the entire day (and there were plenty to choose from)!!!

Austin and Blair were married Feb 10, 2024 in Goldsboro, NC in the most beautiful spring weather 🤷‍♀️🙌🏻.

captured the sweetest first look moment with Blair’s dad and brother. I couldn’t resist showing you their faces when they turned around and saw Blair in her wedding dress for the first time!

So far, our top design color for 2024 is Steele Blue! And we LOVE IT!!! 🩵🤍

We can’t wait to showcase more of these designs this year.

Today, we are back in office with multiple mood boards going out and a few meetings on the books. We’ve taken a small respite from Instagram in order to clear our heads and prepare for our spring season, and now WE BACK! 🙌🏻 cheers to 2024!

I hope everyone had an amazing holiday weekend. We’ve spent time with family from NC, TN, and Malaysia! We shared stories and caught up. Experienced some awesome food and spent some time in worship.

We’ve had a quiet week and are easing back into the office tomorrow for a half day to catch up on scheduling and emails. Thank you for your patience!!

We will be back in office fully next week! For now, I hope all of my 2024 brides are as giddy as me for wedding year!!! 🥂

We’ve had some amazing couples this year!!The Blizzards were no exception. Blair was awesome to work with.

Her dress from was one to remember!

Grady Floral Design knocked our florals out of the park. On this particular day, we storm-watched and decided to go for it! A little sprinkle was a small price to pay for this beautiful spot. Blair even provided her guests with emerald blankets for the service!

After cocktail hour photos with (as seen here), guests entered into the reception ready for a great night! And .dj delivered!

One of our favorite holiday weddings to date! These Florida residents actually booked the River Room during a visit to NC after a quiet downtown stroll by the river. They loved the intimate setting the venue offered, so when a winter night opened up they booked!!

It was such a privilege to plan and coordinate their December wedding.

We’re blessed that so many out of state couples trust us with their wedding day.

We’ve had the privilege of working with clients in Texas, California, Indiana, Colorado, Florida, and South Carolina.

I hope everyone’s holidays are filled with as much love as this day was. 💚♥️

And just like that, 6 months of planning comes to a close. These two are just the COOLEST. Britton is so light-hearted and warm. She and her mother have been a blast to plan with.

We were able to flex our creative muscles for this one. We are sooo ready to showcase the details of this event. Also, super excited to be at the for the first time!! These coastal venues get better and better!

I can’t move into a new wedding weekend without stopping to celebrate the Smiths! Kara & Justin were married at on 11.4. Their quiet, intimate ceremony was held in the vineyard. While they finished up their photos, guests enjoyed cocktails and apps by ! We then moved everyone inside for the bride and grooms’s special entrance for the reception! They were laughing and dancing all night.

It was a privilege to see their story come to life on a beautiful November day.

Prayers for Haley & TJ as they begin this next chapter of marriage 🤍

These two love birds were married Saturday surrounded by their best friends. The day was complete with MOI catering, fall florals, and the best accomodations by !!

We even had a surprise musician fly in to sing his unreleased song for the first time live for the couple. All the way from Nashville, TN. More on that later :)

Taylor & Ryan are getting married a few short days at their family church in Newton Grove, NC.

When we completed the site visit, her mother explained that this will be a fourth generation wedding at their church. We are excited to share this day with them.

My advice when selecting a venue?

Go ahead and start romanticizing the smaller details. This fountain is the first sight guests take in before arriving to the ceremony site. Don’t be afraid to add floral touches to your venue’s nooks!

We spent the morning with our friends over at in their new office space. We are roughly 6 weeks from event day, so my client and I sought out a secondary floral meeting to finalize our design and update our floral order. We usually check back in right before the event to ensure our floral count is fully updated!

Here are three tips to ensure your floral meeting goes efficiently!

🌸 #1 Clean up your wedding vision board prior to the meeting. We want a clean, simple approach with concise ideas.

🌸 #2 Be prepared to discuss more than color! You’ll need to describe your floral style for the centerpieces, bouquets, bouts, and all installments. Familiar yourself with the look and be ready to describe if you want airy, tight, classic or whimsical styles.

🌸 #3 Have fun with it! Bring your vision board and be prepared to discuss the overall look of the event as well as your teeny details. Never be afraid to change or update your ideas even if it is not the original look you discussed when booking your florist.

Every time I leave a floral meeting, I am just in awe of the florist’s knowledge and the love of what they do!! Here are a few we’ve loved working with in the past few years. Check these awesome florists out!!
