T’is the season for counties, winter dances, winter formals and floral wearable occasions! Custom made in our studio to your color palette of choice. We always offer a 10% discount for coordinating bout and corsage combos. Parents coordinate and save time & $$ and the kiddos will look super stylish! Work & life are absolutely fractured as we are thinking about all of our friends, families and floral industry colleagues affected by the ongoing wildfire tragedy in California. Quince branches are back! We used some absolute stunners for a special event last night in CT last night and were so excited. Flowering branches are definitely not just for spring! Aside from some of the big flowers like peony, dahlia and poppies, our most requested “branch per se” is quince! In the deep freeze of January I’ll take any visions of spring and quince fits the bill.

Flowering quince comes in white or pink and thrives in multiple climates. Mostly grown in the US in California, the quince fruit is actually quite popular and from what we understand makes for a great jam!

Our quince branches can come as tall as 6-7’ and are beautiful in a vase alone or paired with other florals. It’s a matter of preference! They can be casual or formal and will last awhile with alittle fresh water weekly (and not a lot of heat blowing on them).
They make an event statement on a bar , in a foyer or even for a wedding like we did here!
Kitchen islands adore them and consoles instantly are made more formal with flowering quince. And if the real deal isn’t your thing we have used high quality faux & they are equally as beautiful.

Let us know if you would like a bundle while we can get them! We can cut them down to a height you like. Order minimum 3 branches as our grower bundles come in 5’s.

Walking into 2025 proud of all that we accomplished & learned in 2024! From the simplest of bouquets to the checklists of wedding logistics to the unknown of last minute Valentine, prom requests & new web platforms (lol). It was a year of work I will never forget (flowering for Billy Jean King at the library was a highlight for me). Cannot wait to share some collages from the year. We will continue to push the bar in our floral design work this year and there are some great new trends heading your way in the flower world!

Walking into 2025 with fresh eyes, new goals, alittle less scared of saying yes and no, new perspectives, willingness to learn more, motivation and excitement about the coming flower year.

Walking into 2025 as the 6th official full year of Blossom + Stem! It’s been a year of trying various things for better & for worse. We will be laying out more of what this business is going to be in the new year. Are you a store? Are you a studio? Do you offer classes? When will you have another location? I want to do it all but need to be realistic as a mommy with growing kiddos.

Walking into 2025 ready to dive into some great new flower adventures so pls stay tuned.

Beautiful way to start and end our day. A light snow and beautiful flowers put us in the right spirit. Truth be told Danielle was racing around Stews at 6am and I was in the studio at 6:45am having to dust myself off and dive back in. However flowers make for mood changers and healers and holiday cheerleaders. Today we finished a 16 foot handmade flower garland for a client recreating his wedding proposal for a special tonight and we did lots of holiday pieces. We looked up to a gorgeous snow (even with Post Rd in the background) and everything was better. Grateful to all of our customers today and always. The could have been the most popular parking lot in town this morning 🤩and yet everyone came in to smiles and compliments of how good the studio smelled! It makes it all worth it for our team. Who else is obsessed with the bow trend this year? We are!! We are also very inspired by the copious amount of detail puts into their entire product line. When we shot this in September (in 80 humid degrees..) we had no idea how big bows would be this year but of course Meg did! Their holiday line is coastal gorgeousness.
