Yesterday night our 1% Team had on a great guest speaker… Joanne Waldman!! Her focus was perspectives in life, finding meaning, purpose, and creating a legacy.

Joanne Waldman is a trailblazer in the retirement coaching world and has more than 30 progressive years in the career transition field. She has coached many executives, company presidents, attorneys, non-for-profit leaders, and even a four star general to plan their retirement, change their careers into their second or third act and achieve personal goals. Joanne has studied and worked in the helping field for many years with an emphasis on transition, retirement, and aging. Her vast knowledge and wisdom have made her a valued speaker on those topics. Reflecting on her clients' stories mixed with her easy style and humor, make Joanne an interesting, captivating, and intriguing presenter.

You don’t see the rejections.

You don’t see the late nights questioning if it’s all worth it.

You don’t see the lessons learned the hard way.

This year was filled with both successes & setbacks…

breakthroughs & breakdowns…

And honestly? That’s what growth looks like.

Every rejection was a redirection.

Every tough lesson built resilience.

Every “L” was just a lesson leading to the next win.

We apply the lessons.

We move forward with even more purpose…

Yesterday night our 1% Team had on a great guest speaker… Johan Tellvik!! Right when I spoke with him I knew my team needed to learn from someone like him. He talked about his story with traveling the world and taught up many topics such as finance, budgeting, investing, stocks, and more.

Johan Tellvik brings 30+ years of experience in finance as a highly successful hedge fund manager, investment banker, sustainability visionary and strategic advisor. He has managed large absolute return portfolios with special focus on real estate, ESG, capital markets, and technology. He is a strategic advisor working with private start-ups helping with business development, financial planning, and business evolution. It’s a dynamic group of 55 like-minded individuals. We meet bi-weekly to learn from executive guest speakers (CEOS, VPs, Best Selling Authors etc.) who share their expertise, inspire us to greatness, and provide motivation. We run team breakout/networking sessions for further collaboration and to grow connection. We also, host sponsored (Chick-fil-A) team dinners, volunteer our time to the community, and attend events together! My favorite part of the event is hearing stories and takeaways from all past attendees. Hearing from current attendees on what changes they are going to make and that they heard the exact message they were supposed to hear! THATS what it’s about for me…

The speaker line up for the night was insane… Caleb Majors, Adebayo Kuye, Ray McElroy, Amber Farooqui, Anthony Kasper, and Marcus Black.
