Mr. Travis Armstrong as a Personal Chef

Dear Employer:

I am very pleased to write this Letter of Recommendation for Travis Armstrong for the position of Personal or Private Chef. Mr. Armstrong worked for my wife and me from September 15, 2015 to January 8, 2021, at time he was given a leave of absence to attend to a serious medical issue that prevented him from performance of his duties with us. We understand and are thankful that his medical treatment has been successful, and he is able to return to his former role as a private chef. Unfortunately, our needs were imminent, and it was necessary to fill our chef position quickly.

Mr. Armstrong was our sole chef to provide breakfast/brunch meals and a sit-down dinners Mondays through Friday on a routine basis, and additional dinners when we had family or social gatherings on special occasions and holidays. Our menus were mutually planned and agreed to on a cooperative basis between Mr. Armstrong, my wife and me, and ranged from a wide variety of traditional American, oriental and New Orleans Creole foods, with special festive dishes on occasions of Christmas, Thanksgiving, and special holidays. Mr. Armstrong is a trained Chef and is capable creating delicious dishes from a variety of American and ethnic recipes.

Mr. Armstrong is a pleasant and sociable individual, who can provide stimulating conversation on a wide variety of topics. He is also courteous and very reliable. He has an especially keen set of talents for decorating. His flower arrangements at the dinner table and other places in our home were at an expert and professional level. He also had a knack and a gift for Christmas tree and Christmas decorations in the home. He is an artist, and clearly has an artist’s eye for color and aesthetics.

Mr. Armstrong does his best work in smaller private settings where he can handle the details of the affair, preferably reporting to no more than one or two people, with extra help with the preparation and serving of larger groups.

As a private chef, I believe and highly recommend that Mr. Travis Armstrong can fulfill your needs expertly and with mutual pleasure.
