We're back from our June break feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, and we're excited to share some updates with you!
To kick off July, we're hosting a full cooking demonstration on Thursday, July 18th at 6:00 pm sharp at Guernsey Brewhouse(This is completely FULL CLASS). We're really looking forward to this event and can't wait to share the menu with you!
Also, don't forget to book your events for the rest of the year, as we're quickly filling up our calendar and have limited dates available for the remainder of 2024.
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our loyal following, whose support means the world to us. When clients ask me about my inspiration, I often reply that it's a culmination of influences from many great leaders in my field. One of my biggest inspirations is the late Anthony Bourdain, a renowned chef who embodied the spirit of culinary exploration. I'd love to have experienced life like he did, traveling the world, discovering new flavors, and continuously learning from different cultures. According to the law of attraction, once we start manifesting our desires, the universe responds by increasing the chances of making them a reality. So, today, I'm excited to focus on manifesting the ultimate culinary traveling experience for us. I'm confident that the energy will attract just the right elements to make it a truly dream come true.

In the words of the great Anthony Bourdain “Eat at a local restaurant tonight. Get the cream sauce. Have a cold pint at 4 o’clock in a mostly empty bar. Go somewhere you’ve never been. Listen to someone you think you may have nothing in common with. Order the steak rare. Eat an oyster. Have a negroni. Have two. Be open to a world where you may not understand or agree with the person next to you, but have a drink with them anyways. Eat slowly. Tip your server. Check in on your friends. Check in on yourself. Hello Future Chefs!
We have just crossed our one-year mark in business, and we want to express our sincerest gratitude to all the individuals, businesses, and customers who have supported us in the Guernsey County area. Without each and every one of you, R&R wouldn't be where it is today. As we celebrate this milestone, we also wanted to make a couple announcements. R&R was born as a dream when my second baby was just 4 months old; she is now 16 months old. Our vision was to bring fresh culinary experiences to the community, teaching people how to create healthy meals and introducing new flavors to their palates. Thank you for being a part of our journey! It has truly been a pleasure.
With that being said, my family has been incredibly supportive of my dreams, particularly my wife KateLynn. However, due to recent changes, she has taken on a new role in a different field that is way more demanding and is unable to continue managing the correspondence of R&R as she did in the past. As a result, I have now taken on the responsibility of being a full-time stay-at-home parent, addressing calls and emails, and handling all cooking and events single-handedly. While some may see me as a superwoman, the reality is that as a mother of two toddlers, business owner and chef, I am at a crossroads where important decisions need to be made for the future of both my business and my family.
Starting immediately, in alignment with my identity as a business owner and mother, we have made the decision to scale back our operations. As a result, my availability will be significantly limited going forward. For the month of May, there are only a few dates remaining for booking events, so I encourage you to secure those dates promptly if needed, however I suggest looking deep into your calendar for events in the future.
As R&R continues to operate, I ask for your understanding and patience with any delays in my responses, as I am juggling multiple roles and responsibilities. I apologize on any delays before hand but rest assured, R&R remains committed to upholding our obligations and delivering exceptional service. Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we navigate this adjustment.

Reflection and gratitude 🙏
Tonight was yet another WONDERFUL class Guernsey Brewhouse, serving up some classic Irish Food.

I am so thankful for the people who continue to follow me on my journey and for both Aimee Ferdon Long and Shawn who continue to give us the space and opportunity to grow within this awesome !
I love that we get supported and in return get to support other , it is what keeps us going.
To think we are coming up on our ONE YEAR anniversary with Guernsey Brewhouse in a few months of hosting cooking classes is such a unreal feeling.

WOW -- I am having a hard time even finding the words for last night, but I think Magical would be a good start.
When we came to Guernsey county we wanted to tell a story with our events. We wanted to bring the big city to a small town, and feed people food that they went to bed thinking about. Last night we executed that exactly.
Thank you to every guest who came and attended our first Valentine's event. 🙏

Something Extra will be helping us in many ways, but with some rentals such for our sold out event this evening!
Angie Singleton and I met not so long ago, but it feels like I've know her my whole life. She has been one of R & R Catering + Consulting biggest supporters and has turned into a friend --> AND she owns Something Extra. She has so many Avenues with this starting with event planning, rentals and she even has some tap trailers! Angie and her 2 daughters run this company and I look up to her tremendously. I hope one day me and mine can do the same❤️.

We are SOO happy to announce our next partner - Mosser Glass, Inc. We will be elevating our dinner with the most beautiful red handmade goblets and red dinner plates for our main course.

Peaceful Plantlings are new to the Guernsey county and take huge pride in their locally gown product.
