Tonight’s catering event was one for the books as we had the privilege of serving some of America’s true heroes—the brave men and women who defend our freedom. Having both grown up in a military town and both of us having spent our careers serving and supporting military families, this evening was especially close to our hearts.
As we left them to enjoy their feast, we were humbled by a heartfelt “thank you” from one of the Marines for our dedication and support from my colleagues. He recalled how, a few years ago, we had stepped up in a sensitive situation involving one of his Marines and his family and went on to tell me this family is doing well now. ♥️ To top it all off, my husband was honored with a stunning challenge coin—a symbol of gratitude that we’ll never forget.
We walked away from this evening filled with pride and gratefulness and the only thing that could make it better? Hearing those rave reviews about our food! 💙🇺🇸
