"Welcome to Delcambre" is a small phrase to describe this small town, but there is nothing small about Delcambre, Louisiana & the Delcambre Shrimp Festival. The 2nd Annual Delcambre Shrimp Festival Social was held this past Saturday and a sh*****ng good time it was! We helped kick off the 72nd Delcambre Shrimp Festival with a celebration to honor & recognize the hard work of the Shrimp Festival Royalty & the Shrimp Festival Volunteers who dedicate so much to aide this wonderful festival year after year. The bounty of awards that the Delcambre Shrimp Festival has achieved throughout the year was celebrated, as well as the 2024 Volunteer of the Year - Mrs. Rhonda Babin. Congratulations to all!
The Delcambre Shrimp Festival is held the third full weekend in August - trust me - you don’t want to miss it!!🦐
