Is there anything you are a bit insecure about? For me, it’s that I can come across aggressive in relationships (in a positive way) 😅 Hear me out 🗣️

I will give and give and give, pour my entire heart and soul into someone without any reciprocation when all I seek in return is time, relationship building, friendship bonding, etc. And sometimes, they amount that I pour into others, is not given to me. Although I struggle with this, I am working every day to turn things around by being happy with giving in all circumstances. Being there for people and being intentional with their time. And being ok with people wanting to spend their time with me without feeling forced into it.
•
What are you insecure about, and how do you overcome it? Regardless of what it is, know this friend: you are enough!

My husband always says “I don’t think we realize how far we’ve come”
•
We have been together for almost 12 years (married almost 6) and we have quite literally jumped through some hoops. But I think one of our favorites is the first home we bought together back in 2016.
•
It was a FIXER UPPER (for real) 1939 style bungalow and we fell in deep love with it.
•
So much love was put into that home by us, our parents and grandparents. It’s where we came home to the night of our wedding, we brought our son home from the hospital, we rescued animals, people who needed shelter stayed with us, we hosted many first holidays and a lot of hard, triggering memories.
•
Looking back, that house served as a giant stepping stone to where we are now, we just didn’t see it then. Almost a year ago, we sold that house and began to build our dream on an 11acre property, which brings us to now.
•
The foundation has been laid and it’s almost time to start physically building from the ground up.
•
There were moments where we wanted to quit, I thought we were crazy and wanted to give up. There are still hard days, but we keep pushing, we keep loving and we keep fighting for our future.
•
Don’t quit babe. You’re tired, I’m tired, but the end goal is worth it. Whatever you are achieving..keep going. Nothing great ever came easily, that’s why it feels so good when we get to the finish line, because we worked our b***y off to get there. We’ve got this!

Here we go! • Last night, Jason and I signed with a local tree company to come clear out about 3 acres of land! • Why is this exciting? • If you’re new here, then I am filled with absolute joy to tell you that Jason and I are creating a beautiful venue on the back end of our property 🤍 • A venue created for smaller moments that will allow time to stand still and forge lasting memories. • While this may not be a big deal to some, it’s a first step for a dream we have had that is actually coming to fruition. • Follow along over the next few months as the ground begins to move and mold into what is no longer “just a dream” #letsbuild #windsorva
