One of my favorite things to do when we go home for the holidays is go through old photos. This weekend we dipped in some family momentos from the 1880’s to 1950’s.
Naturally, some of my favorites were my Grandparent’s wedding photos.
Just after WW2 ended and my grandfather returned, my grandparents wed in 1945. My grandmother, Dorothy’s dress was incredible & her bouquet reminded me so much of mine from 2020. And is there anything more romantic than getting married post war? I unfortunately never was able to meet my Grandparent’s from the Flate side but it’s so fun to day dream about being there with them in these photos. 🤍

When a knot becomes wet it becomes extremely hard to untie. When you “tie the knot” on a rainy day the marriage will be too hard to unravel.
On a rainy day in May these two crazy kids got married surrounded by their friends and family who came from all over to witness them tie the knot and celebrate with an epic party.

By far my most favorite part of my job is being able to share in one of the happiest days of many peoples lives. With that I also have the opportunity to meet people’s closest family and friends. Kathryn & Evan’s day was filled with so much love and happiness. You could truly tell how much they meant to every person who was there to share in their day and I feel so lucky to have been a part of that. Here’s to the newlyweds 💍🤍🍾

This day and these two are special in so many ways. For one my husband and I now share an anniversary with them. Two- Debbie has been a huge support in my life since I made the move to Kingston 6 years ago and started at her gym Rock Your Body. And lastly- Debbie and John are two of the most genuine, thoughtful, helpful, and compassionate people I know. Both are always so willing to help others and were truly made for one another. Anyone who knows them will second this sentiment. They also know how to throw one hell of a party! Debbie and John thank you so much for choosing me to help make your perfect day just that. This wedding I hold near and dear to my heart.
Alex is one of my sorority sisters (Go Kappa!) and like most college friends life moves on and you end up miles away and get to see each others lives unfold through social media. When Alex and Curtis reached out about their wedding to not only coordinate but officiate, my immediate answer was yes. (Shout out Krista) I was able to personally learn so much about who they are as people together and the life they have built.
