Picture this: Downtown Romeo, a charming second-story Airbnb nestled in an old warehouse. The moment Jamie walked in, she was greeted by soaring ceilings, grand windows, the embrace of beautiful hardwood floors, and the everlasting allure of vintage aesthetics. Her studio, a haven featuring two queen-sized beds, a cozy living room, a commercial oven, and a luxurious bathroom, became the canvas for her daily adventures.

The connection was instant, and Jamie extended her stay through the summer of 2018. Here, amidst sips of coffee, she envisioned a dream — expressing her desire to own and operate this haven of creativity to the owners. Little did she know, destiny had already set the wheels in motion.

Fast forward 18 months, the owners approached Jamie with a proposition. In January 2020, Casa De Juliet officially changed hands, and Jamie, along with her partners, seamlessly picked up where the previous owners left off. The legacy of this space, a short-term rental and Airbnb haven for over three years, continued under Jamie's enthusiastic stewardship.

In the midst of a global pandemic, Jamie's dedication stood strong. Restrictions on construction and renovations didn't deter her; instead, she continued to operate Casa De Juliet as an Airbnb. Plans for expansion lingered in the air, with a vision to transform the space post-4,000sqft into three more Airbnb units.

The twist in the story? Jamie discovered that Casa De Juliet wasn't initially zoned for mixed-use and residential units, but undeterred, she embraced the challenge, weaving her dreams into the existing charm.

As Jamie delved deeper into Casa De Juliet's history during the purchase, she uncovered the narrative of the previous owner-investor. For 15 years, this visionary soul had shaped the property into a residential haven. For two decades, before Jamie's era, the space resonated with the warmth of being a cherished residence.

Fast forward to today, after four years of being a short-term furnished rental, Casa De Juliet is gearing up for a new chapter.
