Styling the spaces in the 120 year old farmhouse we recently moved into has been a dream!

I love using items I already have from my collection of wedding rentals and decor to make new combinations for designs like this centerpiece.

During the winter and early spring months weddings slow and I have more time to get inspired and create. I want to share more of my ideas here with you on home decor and renovations, wedding and event florals, and updates on the farm and the new garden space we are designing 👩‍🌾

We love a winter wedding 🥰 So grateful for our most successful year in 2025 and thankful for all the weddings to come in 2026! I’m seeing signs of life poking through the soil in my spring gardens! Irises, tulips, daffodils, and muscari leaves are emerging from the soil. I’ve got buds of peonies appearing and more buds on my hydrangeas, lilacs, and forsythia! It’s the perfect time to start harvesting spring sticks such as curly willow, dogwood, and p***y willow for planters and arrangements 🌸

Fern Floral is 5! 🥳 THANK YOU to my team - my beautiful mom who helps prep and create floral arrangements and bouquets with me, my crafty and skilled dad (not pictured) who taught me how to operate a scissor lift for ceiling installations and engineer mechanics for a hanging install, and my husband Ross who is my partner in everything I do and the best day of assistant with wedding set-ups. I would couldn’t do it without you!

THANK YOU to anyone who has supported us by purchasing flowers, planters, being a wedding client, following our story on social media, and spreading the word to others about Fern Floral. This job wouldn’t exist without you 🥰

5 years of owning a business has taught me so much and pushed me outside of my comfort zone. What a unique life I get to live and I am so grateful! Looking forward to more to come 🥂

Dahlias and roses are a perfect pair 🤩 Dahlias come in so many shapes, sizes, and colors. They’re kind of like the peony of the fall! Roses come in every color and compliment the dahlias perfectly 🧡

Experimenting with dark and light contrasts with this arrangement. We also have a variety of bloom shapes and forms. There will be a lot more work done this year to continue to improve my skills!
