A few words about Camela...
It all started when she knew that event planning was the one. From that day forward, Camela vowed to plan, protect, and shower each event with everlasting memories. Our story starts in Atlanta, but our fairy tale doesn’t end there. In 2004, Camela Jones began with a fire in her belly and a homemade logo to launch Social Butterfly Events. After spending years in hotel management, she decided to say “yes” to her calling to offer a full service, boutique event agency. What seemed like a match made in heaven at first, became a challenge for the first time business owner after the honeymoon stages were over. Camela decided to put the business on pause but later restored her energy to give her passion another shot in Columbus, Ohio.
The once one-woman show is comprised of experts and a network of vendors to help bring each event to life with quality, care, and a luxury flair. Camela Lynn Weddings & Events is proud to host the Columbus Bridal Soirée, an annual event that connects wedding service providers with hopeful brides ready to say “I do.” By 2022, the company will offer the Bridal Soirée in new markets and create new experiences through destination weddings.
