Apex Laser Tag is a tactical laser tag center located in Iowa City, IA that was purpose-built to provide an immersive and engaging laser tag experience unlike any other. We strive every day to provide the best customer service and game experience possible. Our 14,000+ SF arena is filled with wooden buildings, barriers, barrels, and inflatable obstacles. The arena is built to resemble a playable mi

litary base with barracks, headquarters buildings, bunkers, and more. Red lighting and and exciting music creates the perfect ambience for fun memories to be made! We utilize 40 sets of some of the most high-tech and realistic laser tag equipment in the world. Crafted to look like real-world weapons from popular movies and video games, our laser taggers come equipped with custom sounds, vibration feedback, and muzzle flash. Forget the old and bulky laser tag vests, our system uses slim and lightweight sensor headbands instead. These headbands are guaranteed to fit every body type perfectly. Our taggers can hit targets at a distance of up to 1300 yards, so if you can see your target in our arena you can hit it! Apex Laser Tag also utilizes a wide variety of electronic game props that interface and interact with our laser taggers. Game modes like Domination, Capture the Flag, Base Defense, Bomb Defusal, and more are possible with our electronic game props! We offer over 20 different unique game modes for our players to enjoy. Our staff has a background in customer service and event hosting. We have previously hosted airsoft events with over 400 players each at venues all across the Midwest! These experiences in game design and player service have given us the tools to make your next family outing or friendly gathering as exciting and full of fun memories as possible! New hours, pricing, and walk-in availability going live tomorrow (12/3/24)! We are opening up the following times at $30 per person for 2 hours of laser tag gameplay AND video game access:

Monday through Thursday: Open 4pm-8pm with two hour sessions starting at 4pm and 6pm.

Fridays: Open 4pm-10pm with two hour sessions starting at 4pm, 6pm, and 8pm.

Saturdays: Open 10am-10pm with two hour sessions starting at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, and 8pm.

Sundays: Open 10am-8pm with two hour sessions starting at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm.

We are open today from 6pm-8pm for any walk-ins that want to come get some tagging time in!

-Wear black to blend into the darkness and clothes you're ready to workout in! 🥷
-Use your red dot scope for the best accuracy and find a comfortable position to look through as you're playing. 🎯
-Be aware of ALL of your surroundings! You may have a good hiding spot, but you'll still have some vulnerable areas.
-Work with your teammates! Some games require more strategy and teamwork so come up with a game plan before the buzzer.
-Stay moving so enemies don't invade your hiding spot. 🏃‍♀️
-Stay stealthy while moving through the arena for the best sneak attacks! 😶‍🌫️
-Don't let your enemies anticipate your moves. Change up your strategy to keep them guessing and you'll have the upper hand.

It combines many of the principles and themes found in popular video games and movies, packaging it into an activity that can be enjoyed by anyone. Laser tag is an engaging option for birthday parties, corporate and college events, after-proms, festivals, or any other type of event. Our mobile arena setup allows us to bring the fun to you! We can host games with up to 40 players at a time and can set up our mobile “battlefield” at the venue of your choosing. The mobile arena is well-suited for backyards, parking lots, offices, gyms, or any other open spaces. Our state of the art taggers, various game modes, and high-tech game props will keep players engaged and ready for more. The attendees of your next event will love the friendly competition and immersive action that we can provide!
