Smoke-In D’s BBQ back on the cooking trail this weekend to start the 2025 CBA bbq season. Great Saturday at the Noche de Paz BBQ Cookoff in San Juan. At the end of the day we were blessed with some great calls. Thank you to my dad for driving over to help me out!

Road trip this weekend to Laredo for the Pit Kings Laredo Cookoff. Great event brought out 70+ teams for a chance at the title and prize money. We were blessed to hear our song for ribs with a 1st time perfect score! Big thanks to my dad for all the help this weekend!

This weekend Smoke-In D’s BBQ went down the street to Texas Cook'em: High Steaks in Edinburg. We were very pleased with our turn ins but the judges thought otherwise. We were blessed with one call for the day. Big Thank you to Jesse Aceves and Bert Perez for hanging out and assisting me yesterday.

Yesterday Smoke-In D’s BBQ traveled back to our hometown to support the San Perlita Fire Department in their 9th Annual Cookoff. I either have to be crazy 😂 or really love bbq 😃 to have cooked in all the rain we had yesterday. At the end of the day two of our tickets were called and made it worth it. Big thank you to my dad for sticking it out with me.

This weekend we headed over to the 7th Annual HCA BBQ Cook Off. Great event put on by Harvest Christian Academy and Nicolas Torrez. Big Thank You to my Dad, Jesse Aceves, and Bert Perez for helping me out yesterday. At the end of the day we were blessed with two calls.

Yesterday we traveled over to the 7th Annual Los Fresnos Cowboy Cookoff State Chamionship. Great event that brought out 41 teams top teams. At the end of the day we were blessed to bring home some nice hardware.

We headed over to Alamo this weekend for the Watermelon Festival. Great cookoff put on by the City of Alamo and CBA. At the end of the day we were blessed to hear our song four times.

This weekend we drove up to bishop for the Wildhorse Desert Round Up Cookoff. First time cooking at this event and looking forward to coming back next year. At the end of the day we were able to get some great calls and enough points to win the top spot amongst some top competitors.
