We are so excited!

With our Lavender & Lilies Festival less than 2 weeks away, we wanted to share some tips for making your time at our farm enjoyable.

Directions: we’re located at 1885 Hwy 18, Molena GA just 1/2 south of the flashing light in downtown Molena.

Festival Hours:
Friday June 14 9am-2pm
Sat June 15 Morning 9am-2pm
Sat June 15 Evening 6pm-9pm

**Festival is rain or shine for all sessions. We expect mostly sunshine, but just in case. Last year we had a brief rain shower and it was truly magical. There were entire families dancing in the rain and kids stomping in the puddles. Plus the lavender smell is magnified throughout the farm when the rain hits the lavender buds.

1. Closed Toed Shoes are recommended. Please, please, please do not wear high heels or flip flops. Yes, ladies we know it can look cool on the “gram” but you will not enjoy walking around the farm in them. Remember, we are a working farm and not a botanical garden. While we have mowed paths to walk in every field there still is the occasional briar or thistle and plenty of rocks.

2. Bring Clippers (if you have them) if you have purchased a upick flower bucket or plan to at the festival. While we have tons of clippers for you to do upick flowers, there never seems to be enough at peak times. If you don’t have them, no worries it’s usually a short wait if you come later in the day. Buckets are included with your upick purchase so you can get your beautiful flowers home looking good.

3. Food will be available onsite. LouLou's Catering & Company will be at the farm with all their culinary delights for all your picnic and lunch time needs. We have plenty of seating available for meals. You’re also welcome to bring a blanket and find a shady spot for a picnic.

4. Ideas to do for kids (and adults). The lavender and sunflower fields are both hives of activity for bees & butterflies. Sit and observe the activity at a lavender bush and see how many different bees/butterflies you can identify. You’ll be amazed at how many pollinators are drawn to each plant. Also, we have over a dozen different types of birds at the farm. Many feed on the bugs and flower seeds produced here. See how many you can identify visually and through their songs.

5. No professional DSLR cameras allowed. Cell phone cameras are welcome and encouraged to take selfies and pix of the fields. Why no pro cameras? We license our fields to pro photographers each year to take family photos. This just protects there investment in our farm.

6. No pets allowed. Yes, we know your fluffy is the sweetest dog ever, but we’ve had those sweet dogs break loose from their owners and kill more chickens than we could count before they could be caught. There’s always a reason why.
