Every Tuesday I spend 10-12 hours @thehotelslo preparing the @oxandanchorslo Sichuan Dumplings and my offerings for the Tuesday Popup. Prepping the fresh noodles, seasonal salad, wontons, and other weekly specials is a labor of love. There's no place I'd rather be on a Tuesday 🙏❤️🥢

It's been a dream of mine to build a food tricycle in SLO, like the ones which are so common in China. Thanks to my friend and Fabricator, Taylor Owens, my dream has come true! It's still in rough draft stage, but i really wanted to test it out at the @cityfarmslo fundraiser last weekend. It was so exciting and empowering to load it up, ride to the Farm, make Potstickers for 75 people and ride back.
I plan to use it for Popups, Dumpling Parties, and even shopping around town.

中秋节快乐! Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!
The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Mooncake Festival, is a fall harvest festival celebrated in Chinese culture. On this night, many houses are illuminated with lanterns, and feasts and dance parties are held on a grand scale. In Chinese tradition and literature, a full moon symbolizes completeness and is associated with family reunion. Mooncakes are a symbol of reunion and are often given as gifts to family, friends, and business acquaintances.
This Year Mid Autumn Festival falls on Sept 17.
We will have mooncakes for sale at our Monday Night Take-Out today as well as our celebration at the @thehotelslo 's @highbar.slo from 4:30-8pm on Tuesday (Sept 17).
Coco and I made hand made over 150 五仁 (wu ren) "5 seed" filled mooncakes with a medley of nuts and dried fruit, including jujubees from @justjujubesofficial. Get them while supplies last!
