was January of 2021 when I first met Emmy and Tyler. They will always hold a special place in my heart because well, they were the FIRST client J’Loren & Co. Events booked. Guys. Our very first client as an independent wedding planner. I remember the exact day and time I was sitting at my kitchen table, when the signed contract came through. I jumped up and screamed for Brandon. He came running over, what? What?! I said, I just booked my first client!
It’s easy to get sucked into the every day life and just keep plugging along, but sometimes we need to stop and take a beat. Take a moment to think back to how it all started. How did you get to where you are today?
If it wasn’t for EVERY. SINGLE. one of our amazing clients, vendor family and friends, this wouldn’t be... This life. I get to wake up everyday and plan one of the most memorable days in people’s lives.

When we receive our clients wedding galleries, it’s like Christmas morning. Seeing the amazing talent photographers have, capturing all the details of our work,l and seeing it all come together, is so rewarding. Morgan and Treys wedding day was simply amazing and we’re so honored to have been an important role in their wedding planning journey.

Shannon at Hello Sunshine Creatives you did it again. When I text you to say, hey I want to do a styled shoot with disco balls, here’s the color pallet I’m going for… and you not only delivery but you KNOCK IT OUT OF THE PARK. This suspended chandelier is unlike anything I’ve ever seen and I just want you to know, your work shows how much of your heart is in industry.
Vicky at Colorado Party Rentals took them time to host us at the showroom to play around with some ideas and I can’t thank you enough for your guidance!
GIRLFRIEND! You absolutely crushed these photos. I can’t wait to get to know you better this wedding season. Thank you for capturing this hard work, we appreciate you more than you know!
Lastly, Autumn! ! You’re the second set of eyes we needed on this shoot and I’m grateful for you!

Yesterday was my birthday and it just so happened to fall on the Client Open House at Hearth House Venue, so of course I had to treat it as a party! Thank you to everyone who made me feel extra special yesterday! I see you, I see your heart. Feeling SO grateful today to be in this industry, surrounded by empowered men and women who truly love weddings.

We celebrated with Morgan and Trey last weekend and the day was everything! The mid afternoon came with, what we call normal now, rain storms, but 45 minutes before the ceremony, the storm split over us and sunshine was out! This will be my third wedding season, operating under J’Loren & Co. Events and we just received the word that we won Bronze with the Gazettes Best Of 2023. This award is for the Wedding Planner Category and last year we took home Silver. Every year we always strive to provide our couples and community with the highest level of hospitality and this reflects that. Forever grateful for my mentors, clients past present, vendors and friends, for giving us continued support as we serve the local Colorado Springs Community. This one’s for us. 🖤

Friends. Let’s talk about Bar Service!

“But I can get my liquor more affordable at Costco” -> something I hear very often. Here’s why you should not do that and instead, let the professionals handle your bar service purchases.

🏔️ Hauls in all the alcohol and 100+ pounds of Ice (if you provide it you’ll need to also think about coolers to keep it from melting during transport!) Nothing is worse than seeing the father of the bride carrying in countless trips of liquor, when instead, he should be enjoying the morning and getting ready for family photos and ceremony.
🏔️ They know the correct quantity of liquor for your guest count. Too many times I’ve seen it where too much alcohol is purchased and we end up not even going thru half of it.
🏔️Your Bar Service provider can arrange a return of any unopened liquor post event!
🏔️ They’ll provide coolers, scoops, cups, garnishes — basically all the goods you’ll need to execute your bar menu! Need help deciding what cocktails to serve? They have your back!
🏔️ Nothing is missed! Often times when family decides to bring in alcohol, the simplest item can be forgotten such as bitters, certain mixer or garnish.

It’s always important to remember, TRUST THE PROFESSIONALS. They do this 4-5 days a week, why not let someone else take that stress off your plate? 😎

We are in the 37th week of pregnancy and the doctor says baby B can make his appearance at anytime now. It’s true what they say, the last few weeks are the longest. 😅 This journey has been everything I dreamt it would be and can’t thank everyone enough for their continued support. We have both looked forward to starting a family of our own for so many years, it’s surreal it’s almost time. We can feel how loved we are — which just makes us that much more excited for everyone to meet him. ❤️
