Life Celebrations was founded after the death of her sister and mother; She took part in the planning of her sister's service with a funeral home and learned what was involved in planning a funeral. Ten months later when her mother passed, she took it upon herself to plan her service as her mother had no life insurance or savings. Kimberly found she was able to host a similar ceremony for a fraction of the cost. Once she realized how overpriced the funeral industry is, she decided to take it upon herself to provide other families with these low cost services, and thus, Life Celebrations; Memorial Services LLC was born. Life Celebrations understands first hand the sorrows of grief and stresses of funeral planning and formed this business to help alleviate those stresses, give low income families piece of mind, and help them find some closure.
