4 yrs ago today my life changed forever my mom heard the words “You have cancer”. We were hopeful and I decided instantly that I was making this the BEST journey possible for her!

As I was planning her chemo parties and radiation parties I always said I wish there was an adult make a wish!!

As moms journey continued through the years we realized we needed to make more memories and and fulfill more dreams! We didn’t get to one of moms final wishes in time which was a family trip to Disney World, we had it booked, we were ready, but her body and the Lord had other ideas!

If you have gotten this far in the post this is where I am here to share with you I have decided to join forces with the amazing Pam DeVaney Pfeifer at Group Travel Experts and start helping you and your family fulfill all your dreams and trips!

3 years ago today I was laying in bed mad, sad, frustrated, confused, scared, stressful yet hopeful, you see 3 years ago yesterday we got the call saying my mom had cancer!

3 years ago today I had a hair brain idea that I wasn't going to let cancer get us down, I would make it as positive and as memorable as possible! I started planning and brain storming if we are going through this we will smile through this! That is when Joyful Journeys By Holly was born.

Mom had surgery a week later and 3 weeks after that was her first chemo, the hospital staff had no idea what they said yes to the first time I showed up the night before treatment to decorate her room and the neighbors had no idea they were agreeing to decorate our yard at wee hrs of the night and morning to make this journey a bit brighter than it would be otherwise!

We have added yard decor, gift baskets, candy bouquets and I'm sure we will add more as we have adapted to the Covid changes but our passion is spreading joy and creating unique celebrations for those that really need a boost of joy and happiness in the most trying of times!!

Please if we can spread joy for you, a coworker, a family member, friend, spouse, group of people...ANYBODY, we want to help! Reach out to us we will create a Joyful Journey for you too!!!

When your best friend is in the hospital for a week fighting cancer you load her up with snacks and pampering!!!

Tonight I had the privilege to go into a home of a beautiful young lady on hospice and do manicures!

I got a call last week asking me to come to a home and do nails for a patient and her friends and of course I said yes!

I was so touched by the friends thoughts and efforts to make sure they could make somebody they love and care about smile it just warmed my heart!

We take so many days, hours, things, experiences for granted! I sit here reflecting on the entire 3 hrs I got to spend with all of them and I truly am so grateful.

I met an AMAZING woman with a Saint of a husband, I admire them both for their spirit, strength, hope and love for one another.

I want to live a life filled with amazing memories, friends that love me enough they want to help me smile no matter what and family that will hold my hand through anything.

This group of people taught me so much in 3 hr and provided me a memory I will cherish forever!!!

"You have cancer" three earth shattering words....just 3 words that forever change your world and all those around you!

As some of you know Carol (my mom and the reason THIS company started) one of the sewers, sellers and faces of this company was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 she has been one of the strongest, happiest, positive fighters ever but she continues to have to fight.

Recently the doctor has to change her treatment plan and while we are confident and very hopeful in this treatment insurance doesn't cover it all and it will add up quickly!

We have decided to start a Mother's Day Sale with the proceeds of the sale going to Carol's treatment!

Mother's Day Mugs $25 (mixture of self care items and snacks, coffee and or tea)

Mother's Day Baskets $50 (large mixture of self care items, snacks, candle, and more)

We will gladly make larger baskets and have some blankets on hand as well! We want to make your Mom's happy while helping our Mom kick cancers A double squiggles!!

The reason we started Joyful Journeys is because of Carol and to make it a Joyful, happy, positive journey!

Today is the day (we pray with all our hearts) the LAST chemo and the theme of the day is.... NO S'MORE CANCER!!

Carol's love for camping gave us no choice but to have a motivational, adventure theme to end this journey!

We can't wait for Mom and Dad to get the camper out and go enjoy the seasons and the sites!
