A lady inquires about a dj for her event and was told $350,she was excited. The dj showed up with just his laptop,the lady said where’s the equipment,the dj responded you hired me to dj not be a sound company.If I had to provide all the equipment it would’ve cost you way more money.
This reminds me of conversations with Aneesah Chandler about djs,when she would say she believes a lot of people have preconceived ideas of what a DJ SHOULD CHARGE,but after seeing the game from the other side she understands the dj perspective (well at least mine 😂)

It took a minute but I was finally able to hookup with the homie Exree Hipp and present his jersey back to him.
A few years ago he told me he lost all his memorabilia from his playing days at the University of Maryland,but I still had the jersey he gave me back in 1993-94 outside the Eastside Nightclub on Rare Essence night😊(dj booth was popping,but that’s a different story 😜)
#4 has been returned 💪🏾

So I’v been told of some rumblings about of a $30 fee when the VFW is free on Wednesday and Friday…THIS IS NOT A REGULAR VFW EVENT,IT IS A FUNDRAISER FOR THE VFW and it’s being put on by the ladies of the VFW AUXILIARY who’s sole purpose is to help raise funds for the VFW or in this case raising funds for BREAST CANCER
So if supporting a fundraising event ain’t your thing that’s all well and fine but no need to complain about a price of something you’re not supporting in the first place. This is the second event that I’m apart of and the newly elected president LaTasha R Campbell-Thomas and her group do a wonderful job.
