Just over a year ago we bought this business. We were excited about our new business, and COMPLETELY unaware what the year would bring!!😂😂 Maybe even blissfully unaware?! Remembering the days when birthday parties were a thing...😂 I love how this thank you gift from our son's Pirate Birthday Party turned out - red striped candy box and a Pirate Printable tied to it. Fill it with whatever you want (we used Twix bars, Rolo's, and chocolate gold coins to be the "treasure" inside the chest). Easy Peasy!

My cute teacher friend reminded me today that a great thing for our kids to do while they are out of school is JOURNAL!! These are historic times, and what a great opportunity for kids to write down their experiences and how they are feeling.

When my kids end 1st grade I've made a "Mommy & Me" journal. They decorate it and make it their own, and then we write back and forth to each other. They can ask me questions, and I ask then questions, and it's been really fun. I think especially now, it can help alleviate concerns and anxiety about all the changes going on in our lives.

I wanted to pass this idea on to you, in case you've been wondering what to do with your kids the next few weeks. There's 10-15 minutes of your day planned!!😂 Thanks Kim for the fantastic idea!!
