The Rose Tree Park Tree Lighting is happening on December 7th & 8th starting at 5 PM, and so are we!✨ This is your final chance to grab our famous birria tacos, loaded nachos, and all your favorites this year. 🌮🔥

🌸 Welcome Home, Evvie! 🌸

After a long 46 days in the NICU, our little Evvie is finally home where she belongs. She made her early appearance on September 18th, surprising us all with her strength and spirit from the start. This journey has been filled with every emotion, but we are beyond grateful to hold her close and start this new chapter as a family. 💕

We want to thank all the incredible nurses at Lankenau for their dedication and care for our baby girl. Your kindness and expertise meant the world to us and brought us through each day.

To our friends, family, and everyone who’s kept us in their thoughts—your love and support have lifted us up. We can’t wait for you to meet Evvie, and someday, she’ll be out there with us at the taco truck, spreading joy one little smile at a time. 🌮👶

While our whole menu is naturally gluten-free, our soyrizo tacos are also VEGAN! Unless, of course, you get them with that layer of crispy, gooey cheese you see pictured above 😎 Vegan or vegetarian, these tacos are an explosion of flavor! 💥💥💥

New team member starting November!!!

It has been quite the journey to get here, but worth it! Between Emily’s endometriosis, which was surgically excised by last year, and Yibran’s cancer, which was removed through a much more extensive surgery and treated with oral chemo, we didn’t know if a baby was in the cards for us. After two years of Yibran being cancer-free with a fortunately positive prognosis, we decided we would try one round of IVF since we were paying out of pocket… and it worked!! Thanks to for making IVF affordable and attainable, and to the for providing us and other cancer survivors with family building grants. Also a huge thank you to our family and friends who have been supporting us through it all.
We can’t wait to meet our baby girl!!!! 💜

July is Sarcoma Cancer Awareness Month 💜 As the owner of Calaveras Street Tacos, I wanted to use this opportunity to introduce myself and share a bit of my story. I’m Yibran Rodriguez, and I’m excited to share the journey of my dreams—Calaveras Street Tacos! 🚚✨

As a first generation Mexican-American, I was born and raised in Southern California (shout out San Diego! 🌞). My love for food began in the kitchen with my mother, a passion I still cherish. After attending culinary school and managing several restaurants and kitchens, I married my wonderful wife and set roots in Pennsylvania. In 2021, I faced a major challenge when I was diagnosed with sarcoma cancer (GIST) and underwent surgery and oral chemotherapy treatment. Thankfully, I have now been in remission for over two years.

With the unwavering support of my family, I was reminded that life is too short. This realization led me to finally embark on my own culinary journey, despite the many challenges that awaited me. I love what I do, and I’m excited to share my passion with all of you.

Thank you all who have tried my food and those who are anticipating my upcoming events.

A special shout out to Dr. Sprandio (pictured with me above) for keeping me healthy and cancer-free. He’s an incredible oncologist and person and there’s no one I would rather have treating and supporting me throughout my cancer journey! 💪
