When Alyssa was looking at welcome signs, she sent me an inspiration photo of this style as well as something a little more traditional with the question “which one do you like better?” I’m almost certain my response was “is that even a question?” 😅💁🏼‍♀️ Absolutely in LOVE with how this turned out. killed it with this design!! 💛🧡

This one mainly goes out to the 2025 couples who are really just getting into the thick of that wedding planning & designing process. We all know how much Pinterest can suck you in. How much it is full of amazing ideas. Yesterday these two celebrated their 5-year wedding anniversary and I’m over here with my mind blown that it has been 5 years since this perfect day!! I absolutely loved planning with L+D, and I miss them. After the wedding Lauren and I would still get together for coffee - expect she doesn’t drink coffee so it was a hot chocolate for her. 😝 Then they moved back home, across the country, but Lauren and I have kept in touch with yearly cards and I love watching their family grow and all their adventures!! 💙

Refeaturing this blog because, as the wedding planner, I get this question A LOT. Tipping your vendors can feel like an elephant in the room conversation (kind of like discussing your budget at the beginning of the process), but it shouldn't be something to feel awkward about.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Just like going to a restaurant or a salon, your vendors are providing a service and if you feel like they went above and beyond then it is at your discretion if you want to give them a tip. Did you read what I said there? At your discretion. Wedding vendors don't (or at least they shouldn't) expect anything as a "tip" following your event. However, if it is within your budget and you feel so inclined, it is something that is always appreciated for hard work and a job well done. You two are my great accomplishment! 😍 Thank you for making me a momma. I’ve dreamed about being a mom since I was a little girl. It is the hardest job I have ever had, sometimes one of the most thankless jobs I have ever had, and I wouldn’t trade a moment of it for anything!! 🥹​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

What are 3 of my favorite things about living in the Inland Northwest you ask? Well let me share…​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

🏔️ I love that we don’t have much flat terrain. I love that when I drive, bike, walk, ride, it usually involves hills and pastures and mountain views in the distance.

😄 I love the neighborly aspect of this area. I love that when I am walking my dog and pass someone, even if I don’t know them, they smile, wave or say hi.

🧗🏻‍♀️ I love that there is something different to do each season of the year. From rock climbing, and hiking in the spring to biking/riding and water sports in the summer & fall to snowboarding and sledding in the winter. I love just being able to be outside!

This wedding may have taken place in 2022, but it is one I continue to think about often. The detail, hard work, passion, and (some) sweat that went into this day still get to me. 🥹 I am so proud of what the amazing team of vendors were able to accomplish for Sunny + Scott, and I am so honored that they asked me to play a part in putting it all together. You guys are the best!! 🖤​​​​​​​​​
