Hey Everyone! Long post ahead!

I have some pretty big news...

As of March 1st, 2023, Special Events is officially in the transition phase of new ownership.

🚨🚨Three things I want everyone to know:🚨🚨

1. I will continue to oversee operations and ensure that booked events are what is wanted and expected from Special Events!

2. I will remain the point of contact and all conversations/bookings/payments/etc. will continue as normal!

3. BOOKINGS CAN STILL BE MADE THROUGH SPECIAL EVENTS!!

Some questions you may have:

-Why the sale?--Everything fell into place when the new owner brought her business to Laurel. As they say, "with change comes opportunity..." and it is seemingly the right time for me to focus on some other areas of my life that I enjoy and want to be more involved in.

-Who is the new owner?--Jamie Anderson, of Galas Galore Event Planning and Rental and W.W. Galore, is the new owner in training.

Jamie's store, W.W. Galore, is located at 102 E. 2nd Street in Laurel. Please show her support by liking her pages and checking out her store!!

-What happens now?

2023 is a year of transition:
-Every event booked with Special Events in 2023 will be carried out with my supervision, I will help with set up and take downs, and teach Jamie any systems and programs.
-Jamie will be responsible for preparing rentals, setting up and taking down events, as well as learning any systems and programs.

January 1, 2024, Jamie has 100% ownership and Special Events.

Our goal is for this to be a seamless transition. All appointments, communications, invoicing, and contracting will continue as they normally do. Bookings and appointments can still be made with Special Events by inquiring via Facebook or the website.

Please reach out with any questions or concerns. We will be more than happy to assist in any way possible!
