First, decide if you want to have a wedding party standing up there with the both of you.

Some options are:
-You can have just your honors stand up there with you and your bridal party sit in one row together.
- No one stand up there with you
- Even numbers walk down
- Walk 1 by 1

When choosing your wedding party, make sure they are group of people that will stay positive and be your support system throughout the whole process.

Save the dates are not mandatory, however they are a wonderful way of letting your guests know, the date, time and location.

We suggest sending them out around 8 months in advance or longer for destination weddings.

Here are a few tips to help you find your perfect vendor:

* Ask for referrals from your venue, family and friends
* Ask your planner what you should budget for each vendor
* Make a list of what you need and what you want
* Read reviews
* Have an in-person or zoom meeting to make sure your personalities don't clash

The date can be just as special as the venue!

When venue shopping, have your main date and up to 3 other dates that the both of you wouldn't mind getting married on.

If you are more on a budget, ask about off-season and day of week pricing!

After deciding on your budget and hiring a planner, start thinking about what type of venue the both of you would like!

A few things to keep in mind:
1. What is included with the venue packages
2. Make sure whatever decor items you want are allowed in that venue
3. WEATHER! Does your venue have a Plan B? (Do not take the risk. If you are in a tropic region such as Florida, make sure they have a plan b area in case it rains between the months of April-mid November)

Planners tend to be overlooked often because couples are trying to save money. We always here "I love planning so I can just do it myself" or "My family and friends can help the day of".

While all of this maybe true, planners and coordinators do much more than just the timeline and schedule vendors.

If you hire a planner from the beginning, you will save tons of money and have a smoother and plan layed out from the start.

Coordinators can catch any mistakes or things that were overlooked by the couple before a "day of disaster" situation happens.

There are many benefits in hiring either one.

Please do your research on what package and price from your local planners fits your budget and needs.

We know we know.... the money talk sucks! However, it is essential in making decisions throughout the entire planning process.

We suggest gathering you and your spouses budget along with any monetary gifts you may receive from family and friends.

And before you say "I don't have a budget, if I like it then I get it", figure out what number is a sticker shock to you.

So if I were to come up to you and say " Ok, so 100k or 200k is a good budget to stick to?" If any number brings you shock when hearing it, then you have a budget.

Hello!
We are an event planning/ bridal alterations company in Brandon, FL (Tampa,FL).

Would there be anyone or know anyone that is interested in interning a few hours a week or working on a commission only status?

Here is what I am looking for:

Commission recruiter/planner:
This position will be commission only for a few months or less. We are looking for a motivated individual that is looking to learn about the event planning industry while recruiting. For every planning contract received for recruiting only you will earn anywhere from $200 to $500.
If you want to take on the entire contract as the main planner, with our guidance throughout, then you will receive larger (Ex: Our DOC is $1500 your will receive $800, Full is $3500 you will receive $2k)

Social Media:
We are looking for a person that wants to build their portfolio. We are also doing commission for every client booked through one of your posts. We want to make this a permanent marketing position in the next 6 months.

Seamstress:
We are looking for people that want to learn how to do bridal alteration consultations and learn how to sew.

Must be local!

All of these positions will turn into a permanent position in the upcoming months.
