Today Juneteenth commemorates African American freedom and emphasizes education and achievement. It is a day, a week, and in some areas, a month marked with celebrations, guest speakers, picnics and family gatherings. It is a time for reflection and rejoicing. It is a time for assessment, self-improvement and for planning the future. Its growing popularity signifies a level of maturity and dignity in America long over due. In cities across the country, people of all races, nationalities and religions are joining hands to truthfully acknowledge a period in our history that shaped and continues to influence our society today. Sensitized to the conditions and experiences of others, only then can we make significant and lasting improvements in our society.

June has arrived, bringing with it a sense of renewal and inspiration. I’m feeling motivated to get caught up on some long overdue photos of my work & the beauty of all the weddings, holidays, and other celebrations I’ve enjoyed designing for the last few months. I am excited to share more of my creations with you and am so grateful for the slower summer pace that will allow me to recharge and refresh my creative spirit.

Our first official farm event “Easter Egg Hunt” will be held Saturday, March 23rd.
Farm store will be open from 10a-4p.
Easter Event is from 11a-3p.

We’ll have lots of activities for the kiddos. Photo ops with the Easter Bunny, Animal balloon artist, face painting artist, huge inflatable jump house/slide combo, multiple egg hunts, opportunities to win prizes, and access to our new playground area.

For adults, hotdog plates will be available for purchase. The farm store and greenhouse will be open with spring plants and vegetable starts available.

I’m now taking prom pre-orders for flowers. I love inspo and unique ideas, so if you want a set, let’s collab on what you want and I’ll make the magic happen. I welcome Pinterest/Instagram pics, if it’s on there I can make it or be inspired by it.

I just love watching Monti in Mississippi and am dreaming of doing something similar to this in future years. I have to admit, I was a little overwhelmed this year, and can’t do everything I want my first full year in business but this is on my “wish” list to love on the elderly and shut ins at Christmastime🎄
