And just like that the dahlias are done. For the last couple of weeks I have been saying I am ready for a killing frost, but now that it’s happened I’m a little sad.

Now it’s time for planning holiday workshops, clearing out beds, pulling drip lines and w**d barrier, planting hardy annual seedlings and spring bulbs, digging and dividing dahlia tubers, planting our cover crop and reviewing all of our notes from this the summer/early fall season.

The flower stand will be open tomorrow for the last of our bouquets. I will draw two names from all of the past nominations tomorrow morning for our last two “have a great day” bouquets. 🌺🌼🌸

Looking for input from all of you for my Christmas greens workshops. Last year I offered wreaths and grave blankets. I am going to offer a grave blanket workshop for sure but am wondering if there would be more interest in porch pots and/or centerpieces rather than wreaths. Let me know your opinions please!

And that’s a wrap on homecoming flowers for 2024! We had the pleasure of creating homecoming florals for five different high schools. 🌺 Bouquets are trending and I love them! Our daughter and her sweet friend couldn’t decide if they wanted a corsage or bouquet, so they got both. 💙
