What a day to start off the 2023 Wedding season not only for myself but for Kettle Ridge Farm in Victor!
This hidden gem of a venue was absolutely perfect! From the beautiful grounds, handmade farm tables, intimate setting, the staff, the food 🤤, reppin NYS sourced alcohol, the air conditioned barn, and more! Chris, Adriana and their staff absolutely knocked it out of the park yesterday and all were so helpful! 10/10 recommend checking them out for your future event and their hosted events throughout the year!

Amanda and Evan had it all planned out to the smallest detail. Even having their bestest boy Carter (I didn’t snag a pic of him 😩) present for their entire day. The simple but elegant touches and decor (peep those name place cards!), all of the fresh florals, their Beer Unity using a Vanilla Porter and Blueberry Ale by Rohrbach, opting for a family style dinner (which again was absolutely amazing!), Black Button Lilac Gin and Tonic as their signature drink, CHICKEN AND WAFFLES with Kettle Ridge Maple Syrup as a Late Nite Bite, fire pit with S’mores, yard games including a Crossword puzzle with clues about the Bride and Groom, NYS Coffee grounds and Tea as favors… but above all, majority of their family and friends that attended were from out of state! I heard Utah, Arizona, Georgia, New Jersey, Albany, NYC just to name a few. This couple is and was showered with so much love yesterday. High school and college classmates. And everybody had a blast!
Encore Events and DJ Savy HELD IT DOWN with the insane mixes she was playing! 7 months pregnant and this chick killed it! All the guests were raving about her and myself included! She was an absolute dream to work with.
Danielle, who photographed the day, was also a friend of the Bride and Groom and another amazing vendor to work with. So personable, professional, amazing attitude, keen eye for detail, and down right so sweet. I cannot wait to see her photos!
Another friend and guest of the wedding Rupa, made all of the cupcakes, the special anniversary cake and their wedding cake. Good lord they not only looked amazing but were amazing! She mentioned that she doesn’t bake professionally, however these were professional quality cupcakes! Guests were going bonkers over these delicious desserts! She had about 250 mini cupcakes, four amazing flavors and they went like hot cakes!

Evan and Amanda, I cannot thank you enough for letting me kick off wedding season with yours. You two are the sweetest couple! You both have amazing families and friends! Your planning made it so simple for me and your choice of venue couldn’t have been more perfect for your big day!
Congratulations to you both and I wish you nothing but love and happiness in the years to come! Enjoy your honeymoon and your lifetime of amazing moments! 🖤

Meet Sally and Miles. Two insanely intelligent, outside of the box thinking, unique, creative, vintage romance individuals who wanted their wedding focused on bringing all those they deeply loved together. And they absolutely nailed it!
From the Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy Wedding Song, to their moving nuptials to one another, their personal toasts to their guests, 6ft Face in Hole cut outs of cartoon couples, unique favors and Vinyl Record Guestbook, a tattoo station, and an incredible toast made by a guest around the fire with a shared bottle of Mead. Not to mention a slight mishap with string lighting and many guests rushing in to fix it and bring light back to the fire pit! This day was nothing short of amazing. The weather was perfect, the decor and details matched their colorful personalities, guests were raving about Chefs Catering Food Truck, Vintage Taps and the desserts provided by Get Caked. All vendors were especially diligent to provide products that specifically catered to allergies which was a huge plus for the bride. Vegan, Gluten Free, and especially Peanut Free options were all provided making it so easy for Sally to enjoy her day!
With their unique style and colorful personalities, the couple and guests alike enjoyed an array of music provided by Tones Entertainment. Mostly 80’s which was selected by the bride and groom and they all danced the night away.
Sally and Miles also provided their guests with a Wicker Lounge Area, Temporary Tattoos and Key Chain favors which links you to their wedding playlist through Spotify!
The venue in itself was in little need of extra decor. The beautiful trails, private ceremony site, long pathways of tall trees also gave guests the ability to wander and explore. I can’t wait to see the videos and images captured by Daniel Finkelstein Photography who also happened to be a close friend to Sally and Miles.
Everything came together perfectly for these two. I can only hope they enjoyed their day as they always dreamed, and have a wonderful, amazing, laughter and loved filled life together as Mr. and Mrs.

Any wedding at Wrens Roost is going to be absolutely amazing. Rachael and Shane nailed it. From the amazing views, the delicious food, awesome specialty cocktails, a DJ that had an impeccable playlist from start to finish and let’s not forget this drop dead smoke show of a bride. I mean sheeeeeeh! 🥵🥵
Yes it was a bit toasty outside but as expected, there was a consistent mountain breeze that kept guests comfortable throughout the day.
Crisp, clean, elegant whites and greens with touches of gold was the theme of choice and it complimented the venues surrounding nature perfectly.
When I tell you her pictures are going to be absolutely breathtaking, I’m talking bridal magazine , cover page, 10 out of 10! Luke, Amy and James killed it. Seeing a few sneak peeks and good lordy I’m getting goosebumps again just thinking about it! Luke and Amy worked so well together bringing the energy and hyping them up like none other! James was awesome between flying the drone and the videography. This album is for sure going to be one for the books!

I’d like to take a moment for a special shout out to Izzy and Eliza (Wrens Roost employees) who not only assisted where needed but being on top of everything. These two ladies went above and beyond helping me handle a situation involving them driving to Bloomfield and back just to help resolve an issue. I could not be more impressed with their work ethic, professionalism, and overall control of the venue yesterday. In every aspect true MVPs of the day.

Shane and Rachael, I hope you two not only enjoyed your day but hope it was everything you wanted and imagined. Have an amazing time in Italy as newlyweds, make memories, and have an incredible life together. Your families are truly amazing and there’s so much love and admiration for each other.
Rachael my dear, you looked absolutely stunning yesterday. Elegant, classy, with a touch or two of sexy. 😏
Shane, absolutely dapper. I’m completely impressed you kept your suit jacket on as long as you did!

I cannot be more pleased with this wedding. All of the vendors worked seamlessly together as if we worked together for years!
The venue in itself is just stunning! Gretchen was an absolute dream to work with, more than helpful, and extremely accommodating. The grounds are private, whimsical, and extremely well maintained. The 13 (I think) passenger golf cart was THE BEST. So useful for transporting guests from the ceremony site to the reception building (although still in walking distance). The woods, ponds, gravel drive, bridge, landscaping all give you a bit of golf course, nature preserve, rustic, cabin vibes but again with 1000% complete privacy for your event. Can’t rave about this venue enough.
The FOOD!!! 😳😳😳 wow! Just simply wow! The hand passed appetizers were insane! My personal fav was the Pork Belly Steam Bun. The Pineapple Wonton was just out of this world. And then dinner…. Delicious. Never heard a single complaint throughout the night, only rave reviews! And the staff… these guys were so helpful, respectful, and hard working. They did a fabulous job!
Desserts were never a doubt when I heard they chose Get Caked. The two tier was simply beautiful. Out of all the desserts they ordered, there may have been one or two cream puffs left at the end of the night! Guests were taking plate fills of desserts!
Can we talk about these florals!?!?!?! Breath-taking in every aspect! Crisp, clean, elegant, sophisticated, yet a touch of flare with the pampas. Soooo many compliments and each one well deserved. They not only looked stunning but smelled so fresh. Simply beautiful.
Swooners kept the party going on the patio all night. Guests were having a blast dancing and singing to a vast array of songs. I’ll admit, this was my first wedding with a band and I was a bit worried. However, they killed it and guests were very entertained!
It’s always a pleasure to work with amazing photographers. Carly and Andy were awesome! They were everywhere they needed to be and super accommodating to any extra pictures I suggested spur of the moment. Both super personable, approachable, and laid back. I can’t wait to see some sneak peeks!

Lastly, my amazing couple, Craig and Mimi.
From what I gather, they have been together about 13 years and they finally tied the knot. With Craig’s father performing the ceremony, a reading from one of the Maids of Honor and the brides Mother, there wasn’t a dry eye in attendance. Craigs family brought Long Island to the ROC and they all partied the night away. The toasts, stories of slapping a horses hiney and getting tazed by the police, new moments and memories, and an incredible love story. Congratulations you two. Thank you for allowing me to help make your special day happen! I hope it was all you dreamed of and more. 🖤

Yesterday was definitely one for the books!
Brian and Morgan are living in Maryland, planned a wedding out of state, endured Covid personally and then with one of their vendors 2 days before the wedding 🫣, poor Morgan was worried about the snow when it was actually one of the warmest days this year, and on top of it all, we had to watch the rain incase we needed to make a game time decision for the ceremony.
The AC was cranked inside the newly renovated Grand View Lodge in Powder Mills Park and it was a pleasure brining Morgan and Brian’s vision to life! She looked absolutely stunning yesterday. A perfect mixture of elegance and her own personality with the gown she chose. She went with greens with subtle hints of wildflowers which was absolutely gorgeous.
The rain held off until about 8:30 and the sky lit up as the guests danced the night away inside. Everyone was more than well fed from Moe’s taco bar and the never ending spread of desserts that included 5 different cookies, brownies, 3 different mini cupcake flavors, and 3 mini cheesecake flavors. Also they chose to share their cheesecake cutting cake that had a raspberry topping.
The bar was well and fully stocked of an assortment of combinations for drinks. Fireball shots were greeting guests after the ceremony and from then on, the party didn’t stop. They also included yard games for their guests to enjoy.
Brian and Morgan thought of everything when it came to this wedding. I couldn’t imagine the stress of planning a wedding out of state let alone buying my forever home at the same time. These two are truly a match made and their love story is one of the sweetest I’ve heard in a while.

Congratulations you two! Many years of love and happiness and as Mike said, keep up this real life Rom Com you’ve created. 🖤

Happiest of wedding days to Kayla and Kyle! Another Covid I Do Re Do from 2020 but well worth the wait. We beat the heat, ran in the rain, ate some AMAZING food and topped it all off with an ice cream bar! With a beautiful venue , Cobblestone Wedding Barn, how could you not be amazed by the rustic simplicity! Tables lined with fresh greenery and flower buds that made the barn smell so fresh, a beautiful splay over the ceremony site, raw farm tables…. Just gorgeous!
Congratulations you two! And thank you for trusting me to create your big day!
