The Indian Lake Theater is honored to participate in Stand With Ukraine Through Film. Hundreds of American theaters have agreed to show the Ukrainian film, THE GUIDE. Our showing is on SUNDAY, MARCH 27 AT 7 PM.

Directed by Ole Sanin, The Guide is the story of an American boy living in 1930s Soviet Ukraine whose father dies. Through circumstances, he meets a blind minstrel and becomes his guide. This film was Ukraine's submission to the 87th Academy Awards in the foreign language film category.

100% of ticket sales from our screening will be donated to Ukrainian relief.

Our Story...

Jake’s Take Out came into existence in uncertain times. The restaurant I worked in and the entire food industry is now changing. I needed a job and you all needed a break from cooking! This pop-up take out service came about when everyone in this small town needed a break from quarantining in our homes and cooking 3 times a day 7 days a week. Now with the support of all my awesome customers, the Bower’s Family, my own family, and friends, we are going to continue to offer the best food we can to our lovely locals and visitors to our beautiful town! We will continue evolving and changing with the world, our country, and the food industry. We will see where this adventure takes us. Thank you all! Much Love!
