5 ideas to host a Total Eclipse party!
1. Get the Solar Eclipse (NASA approved) glasses for you and your friends. Sun glasses will NOT do!
2. Choose the perfect location - conviently Indy is a great viewing spot.
3. Themed snacks & drinks: Anything galactic in the name, e.g. Moon Pies, Starburst, Milky Way and Eclipse or Orbit gum. The same goes with drinks, e.g. Sun tea, Sunkist and Sunny D. Cut vegetables or desserts with cookie cutters into the shape of stars and crescent moons.
4. Watch the live feed on NASA’s website
5. Make a playlist: What songs can you think of that fit the theme?
