This shoot was so much more than just a “styled shoot” - it was more than just a fun dance party, yummy treats, and pretty decorations. This shoot created space for these young girls to feel beautiful, intelligent, fearless, strong, powerful and capable. Barbie herself was able to speak words of encouragement over these beautiful ladies and remind them that they can do and be anything want and accomplish everything they dream of. Though we do get to have a lot of fun creating, our jobs as vendors have so much more meaning. We get to impact lives. We get to join in on celebrations and stand beside people on the best of days. We get a front row seat to happiness and love. We got to see people embrace, people cheer, people cry tears of joy. It never gets old, and it never stops feeling magical. Today I am feeling so grateful for the place that I am in and for the people I get to help celebrate and champion 💖
