I really wish I could be there to physically set up for this amazing family watch party tonight! I am so happy for them!!

This was the rainiest day ever lol I look back now and chuckle. The sound of that horn and the cheering with the rain.. it was just joyful and explosive. It was just wonderful. I can’t wait for you all to experience the shock with us. I look drenched 😂💦☔️ I don’t even remember seeing the bus, so I’m excited to see what it looked like from the other side.

❤️ Please take a moment to pray for this sweet girl and her family.

What we do know is her blood culture came back positive… generally that’s about 10 days inpatient. But I’m believing we will be out in less. She is crying to come home. That absolutely breaks me. But she is having to receive hard core antibiotics and neupogen to fight it. She’s terrified. But we know that we caught it before sepsis showed up and we have a great team who knows us very well, and is taking great care of her. Because of faith, I cannot stay overnight. Rob will be there for that. I’m going to do what I can to make the room comfy for her and pray these days speed by.

The anxiety is worse than the physical sickness. Please pray for that for all of us.

Aubrey has broken every expectation medical professionals have put in front of her, that won’t stop today.

Today I put stickers on cups for the families that use our coffee bar. This one really stood out to me… I need it on a window hanging thing in my car to remind me. No one knows what we go through. No one knows the demons we fight every day.
