My name is Ashley and I would love to be a part of your special day!

My background is in intelligence analysis for the federal government and non-profits, but my attention to detail and ability to plan for various scenarios gives me a unique perspective and ability to anticipate and mitigate potential problems that could interfere with your special day. I got started in wedding planning in 2018 when a dear friend (fellow wedding planner!) asked me to help plan her wedding and serve as her day of coordinator. Walking with her through all of the planning and watching her on her special day is one of my most cherished memories. I also planned my own wedding in 2015 and I understand first hand the stress and intricacies that go into planning a wedding and I’m so happy to be able to use my knowledge and skills to help couples celebrate such a beautiful and pivotal time in their lives.

I’m John, the proud husband of Jennette and her trusty sidekick in the wedding business. When I’m not diving into the tech world as a full-time IT professional, you’ll find me bringing dreams to life as Jennette's wedding assistant and a passionate decorator. Together, we also run Partydreams Ashburn (a decoration rental company) where we sprinkle a little magic on every celebration.

From arranging tablescapes to ensuring every detail is picture-perfect, I love being part of the happiest days of people’s lives. In my downtime, you might catch me playing pickle ball and playing outside with our kids. Together with Jennette, we believe in love, laughter, and making every event unforgettable!

Hello, my name is Vivian! I'm fairly new to wedding coordinating but have always loved event planning for friends and family so it just seemed natural to extend my experience into the wedding scene! To say I find joy in coordinating is an understatement! My favorite part of the process is when both, coordinator and bride, realize that it is no longer a service just being provided but a true friendship developing while planning the most special day of your life together. Aloha, Anh here! Most people call me "Truongsta" or “lil Ann” because they give up on trying to pronounce the “h” in my first name, but guess what? It’s silent!

Hosting gatherings and events has been in my blood since I was in the womb. My parents used to throw massive get together and parties for our 100-or-so relatives plus friends at our house and picnics for our neighbors in our cul-de-sac since before I was born. My dad always found something to celebrate because life is a party!

The thought of getting into wedding and events planning professionally didn’t cross my mind until a year after my husband and I got married. We had two weddings on two opposite coasts - Virginia & California. Many of our guests asked us after the weddings who our wedding planner was…it was me, lil Anh! They wanted me to take on their events but since I didn’t work for an events company (yet), I had offered to just do it for fun out of pure enjoyment. Before Jennette and I discovered each other, I had planned 2 destination weddings, a baby shower, multiple birthday parties, and a bachelor party up in the mountains.

Other activities I enjoy outside of events and wedding planning is doing (and teaching) yoga, surfing, traveling, and photography. I’m also a professional photographer in the DMV, SoCal, and beyond. Creativity fuels my soul and I’m excited to be a part of your next adventure!

My name is Jennette and I would love to be a part of your special day!

Ever since I was in college I was known to get involved in various activities and bring people together for a good time. From parties, conventions to volunteer events, I plan and execute with the guests in mind.

My current career is in Reliability Engineering and I got into wedding coordinating on accident! One random day a few years ago, one of my sorority sisters asked if I would assist her in a few of her weddings. From that day on, I have been working weddings and my interest in them grew! Shout out to my Sorority Sister, Laura Kim, owner and lead planner of Iconic Events LLC! Since then I have been trained to become a lead planner/coordinator under Veronica Reily from White Dress Black Tie events.

My company is named after my beloved doggie, Lilo. She is a boxer mix hound, and she is surely a sassy one! She is lively, fierce and isn't afraid to have a good time. She went to doggie heaven in December of 2022 and still lives in our hearts and minds. WE LOVE and MISS YOU LILO, we think about you every day!!

My vision for Lilo Weddings is to deliver a stress free and memorable event while working side by side with amazing vendors on the couple's wedding day!

When nerves turn into magic...

In the midst of wedding jitters, there's always that one moment that feels like it'll define everything. For the Bride it was the infamous dip kiss during the ceremony.

With shaky hands and a pounding heart, they took that leap of faith, and let me tell you, it was pure magic The way they dipped and kissed felt like something out of a fairytale. To all the brides-to-be out there, embrace those nerves, because sometimes they lead to the most beautiful moments of your life.

The decision to name my business after Lilo holds a deeply sentimental significance as her presence marked the commencement of something exceptionally beautiful and meaningful in my life. It was an instinctive choice to align her name with my fervor for wedding planning, a field that evokes excitement and anticipation with every single celebration.

In this symbolic naming, Lilo becomes more than just a name; she embodies the essence of love, mirroring the very sentiment that weddings encapsulate – ceremonies dedicated to love in its purest form. This association serves as a constant reminder of the passion and dedication I bring to each wedding, infusing every event with the joy and love reminiscent of Lilo's special aura.
