The difference between a venue coordinator and a wedding coordinator is that the venue coordinator works for the venue, while the wedding coordinator works for the couple. The venue coordinator deals with everything having to do with the venue, such as food, setup, and bathrooms. The wedding coordinator, on the other hand, looks out for the couple's best interests and deals with aspects of the venue that pertain to the couple.
