Mike & Kimberly Tenoever have a long history of historical restorations and historical metals. Out of all the historical metals, Zinc was the one that called their name. Zinc is a long lasting, maintenance free metal that has an unparalleled warmth and depth. Zinc just happens to be an essential component to the good health of yeast! s first house his house would be wrapped in custom made Zinc panels. In 2002, Mike purchased 45 acres of raw undeveloped land and in 2006, he built his first house complete with Zinc Cladding on all of the walls and roofs and this is what has become The Zinc House! In 2008, Mike along with Kimberly started venturing out to various vineyards, wineries and breweries throughout NC and Virginia. Their minds were immediately transfixed by the experience of sitting outside with a bottle of wine, enjoying nature, and learning about their new passion. The idea of building a winery was born in 2009 and it was then that they began to slowly transform the land into the vision they had for this winery. They took wine courses, made kit wines, brewery courses and started brewing beer. In 2010 Mike & Kimberly made their lifelong commitment to each other while floating in a hot air balloon slowly drifting over the expansive Russian River Valley in Napa. For the next 12+ years they continued to refine their love for wine and craft beer while working to build out this dream that has now become Zinc House Winery & Brewery. Today the property has a total of 87 acres complete with vineyards, multiple event spaces, winery, brewery and massive roof decks that allow for incredible views of the Vineyard and Estate. One of the big drivers for this vision is the love that Kimberly and Mike have for this land. They want to share their love for this land by creating a space where people can fall away from the daily pressures of their lives and come away feeling inspired and with a sense of peace.

Whiskey Wednesday — November Edition!

Normally, there’s a bit of backstory. Normally, there’s some flowery language about history, geography, and tasting notes. Nah, nope. You know it, you love, we love it, and it’s become increasingly annoying to acquire.

Buffalo Trace, $2 per 1.5oz pour. One day only, Wednesday, Nov. 6th. Limit one per person, while supplies last.

Normally, I’d say “see you soon?”, but this time it’s not really a question. ❤️🥃

MEET THE COMEDIANS!
Jesse Jones has been doing stand-up comedy comedy for the last eight years. His high-energy style and honest story telling allows crowds to connect with him on a personal level whether they want to or not. He has been seen on MTV, Laughs on Fox, reviewed by the New York Times and the web series Fitness Fail with the 3V network.

Matt White is a comedian known for his sharp wit, engaging storytelling, and relatable humor. Hailing from Hertford NC. Matt has been making audiences laugh with his unique blend of observational comedy and personal anecdotes. He is a winner of “NC Funniest Person” and “Port City’s Top Comic”. He earned “Best Of Fest” at the Rubber City Comedy Festival and the Cleveland Comedy Festival. Matt performs improv comedy, sketch comedy, and is also an accomplished actor, producer, and writer.

Nick Jordan is a Raleigh, NC based comedian. Traveling around the Southeast, Midwest, and Texas entertaining crowds with his self deprecating and explicit observational humor. You can listen to Nick on the radio Monday-Saturday from 3-7pm on B939 & 95.3 The Beat

As a full-time standup comedian MT Bottles has worked with Jackie Fabulous, Joyelle Nicole Johnson, Zane Lamprey, Andy Woodhull, Guy Branum, Caitlin Peluffo and SNL cast member Devon Walker. A ‘22 and ‘23 North Carolina Comedy Festival featured performer, 2022 Orlando Comedy Festival featured performer, and 2022 and 2023 Port City Top Comic finalist, MT released his first comedy special on YouTube to showcase his undeniable charm and the telling of his absolutely ridiculous life experiences.

Wednesday we have our weekly wine tasting, Thursday is our Wine Dinner (limited seats remaining!) and FREE Music Bingo in the pavilion. Sunday we will have yoga with 🧘🏽‍♀️

For all those pet and wine lovers, come gather at ZincHouse for an evening with friends and family to enjoy painting a custom hand drawn canvas of your very own pet! November 20th • 6PM-9PM

All supplies are included in your ticket price as follows:
An 11x14 canvas with your pet drawn prior to class.
A color photo of your pet to use as a reference for painting, all painting supplies, set up and clean up.
Personal painting help from the art teacher and assistants.

Food, craft cocktails, beer and wine (21+) will be available for purchase at this event from ZincHouse + Available Food Trucks . (No outside drinks will be permitted) Class time will be approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes long. Cost is $50 *Limited Seating Available!
