It is an honor to work with USA Boxing, Inc (Southeastern Region) along with North Huntsville Boxing Club, & The Dr. Richard Showers Center on bringing an “One of its kind” Boxing event.

This event will begin with a community day beginning (10am-2pm) where there will be outdoor activities available for Adults & Children. This includes, but not limited to:

- Face painting
- Bouncy houses
- Co****le
- Tug-of-war
- Sack races
-Obstacle Course
- Food Trucks and ice cream trucks
- Live music or a DJ (kid friendly)
- Arts and crafts stations much more

There will also be a great opportunity for Adults and Children to be able to receive Eye Care needs with our Non Profit partner “Better Vision Better Hope.” If you are looking for glasses for yourself or your children all you would need to do is bring your prescriptions and this great organization will get you taken care of. Better Vision Better hope serves the underprivileged communities and those that are just in need of help. Here is the link for more information on this amazing organization:

*Competition Fights began at 5pm

**Introducing the Day II Entertainment Boxing Smoker in Collaboration with the Dr. Richard Showers Recreation Center: Building Champions, Building Community**

We are thrilled to invite you to partner with Day II Entertainment as we collaborate with the Dr. Richard Showers Recreation Center in Huntsville, Alabama, to host and sponsor the first-ever amateur boxing event of its kind in North Alabama. With your support, we aim to cultivate tomorrow's fighters while fostering unforgettable family-friendly community experiences.

This event marks a pivotal moment for boxing in our center and in the collective Huntsville community. Welcoming young and aspiring fighters from USA Boxing's southeast region, including Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee, our goal is to expand our reach to include fighters from Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. Your partnership will elevate our center to become a recognized USA Boxing site, providing local fighters with greater opportunities and visibility on a regional scale.

At the heart of this event is the North Huntsville Boxing Club (NHBC), under the esteemed leadership of Dr. Eugene Lewis. For over eight years, Dr. Lewis has dedicated himself to training fighters at the Showers Center, guiding them towards professional success. Notable talents like Obed "Radar" Bartee II, currently preparing for the 2024 Olympics, have emerged from our training facility. With your support, we aim to uncover the next generation of champions right here in Huntsville.

The NHBC welcomes over 30 individuals each week, instilling in them the fundamentals of boxing, the cardiovascular benefits, and the discipline required to excel in the sport. Your partnership will empower us to transform local enthusiasts into accomplished boxers with a clear path to success.
