Imposter syndrome always hits the hardest at the beginning of a new season.

I look at my designs, coming off the page into real life and think, “who did that?” “That’s really beautiful, couldn’t have been me!”

Then I step back and remember the process. The work and study and practice and learning moments it took me to get here and the immense hope that comes with knowing there’s more growth to experience.

I’m working through hard emotions, learning hard lessons and getting better and better for my clients and myself.

This is the first year of my business that I find myself ABSOLUTELY ECSTATIC about every single event that I’ve booked. My job is finally about the artistry and not the grind.

The highest compliment that I’ve gotten recently is, “I saw that design and I knew it was yours” and that is EVERYTHING. It’s the most fulfilling thing to walk away from an event with a happy client and knowing that you stayed true to your own artistry through it all.

There is still so much more growth to experience, but I’m so grateful to be here ✨

i like to think that flowers are meant to create moments to be savored. there was a lot going on behind me while i took this photo, but this was an opportunity to “stop and smell the roses” so to speak ✨

next time you walk by a flower, whether it’s in the grocery store, on your morning walk or in a curated arrangement - stop, take it in, let it move you ✨

something that i’ve been prioritizing since the beginning of this year is beauty. not necessarily being beautiful and not just creating beauty, but noticing it. not just noticing it, but observing it and allowing it to make an impact.

i want to cultivate beauty that moves people and i want to be moved by the beauty around me.

whenever i take notice i snap a photo to capture it just as i saw it. no edits, no aim for the “perfect shot”. just the moment.

i have sooo many new people following my flower journey 💐- so it only feels fitting to reintroduce myself!

i’m Victoria - Tori for short - and i would love to be your floral designer for whatever event you may be planning ✨ My journey with flowers started with finding meaning behind them, like I tend to do with everything. I read a book on the Victorian Language of Flowers and fell in love with the nuanced & very specific messages that flowers have the power to communicate.

You may be wondering - why ‘Felicity’? Jane Austen, of course. Pride and Prejudice has the word ‘felicity’ to describe an elated feeling - a feeling of intense happiness. Fitting for your wedding day, don’t you think! 🥰
