Imposter syndrome always hits the hardest at the beginning of a new season.

I look at my designs, coming off the page into real life and think, “who did that?” “That’s really beautiful, couldn’t have been me!”

Then I step back and remember the process. The work and study and practice and learning moments it took me to get here and the immense hope that comes with knowing there’s more growth to experience.

I’m working through hard emotions, learning hard lessons and getting better and better for my clients and myself.

This is the first year of my business that I find myself ABSOLUTELY ECSTATIC about every single event that I’ve booked. My job is finally about the artistry and not the grind.

The highest compliment that I’ve gotten recently is, “I saw that design and I knew it was yours” and that is EVERYTHING. It’s the most fulfilling thing to walk away from an event with a happy client and knowing that you stayed true to your own artistry through it all.

There is still so much more growth to experience, but I’m so grateful to be here ✨

i like to think that flowers are meant to create moments to be savored. there was a lot going on behind me while i took this photo, but this was an opportunity to “stop and smell the roses” so to speak ✨

next time you walk by a flower, whether it’s in the grocery store, on your morning walk or in a curated arrangement - stop, take it in, let it move you ✨

something that i’ve been prioritizing since the beginning of this year is beauty. not necessarily being beautiful and not just creating beauty, but noticing it. not just noticing it, but observing it and allowing it to make an impact.

i want to cultivate beauty that moves people and i want to be moved by the beauty around me.

whenever i take notice i snap a photo to capture it just as i saw it. no edits, no aim for the “perfect shot”. just the moment.

i have sooo many new people following my flower journey 💐- so it only feels fitting to reintroduce myself!

i’m Victoria - Tori for short - and i would love to be your floral designer for whatever event you may be planning ✨ My journey with flowers started with finding meaning behind them, like I tend to do with everything. I read a book on the Victorian Language of Flowers and fell in love with the nuanced & very specific messages that flowers have the power to communicate.

hi!!! i feel like every time i’ve posted lately it’s mostly been to prove i still exist 🙃 i do!! i’ve just been on vacation ✨

i came from Caribbean heat back to the chilly mountain weather and i’m adjusting! the cooler weather is an opportunity to think outside of the box with limited access to fresh ingredients. these hydrangeas dried beautifully from my wedding a couple weeks back and i’m excited to create with them! ✨

booking is about to ramp up big time in the coming months and i’m so excited to start getting into fall designs.

2023 is gonna be good 😊

When your photographer friend joins your team for the day ✨ this past weekend was so fun for me! This is the face of a lady that’s really happy about what she just created.

Weather plays a huge part in our operations on wedding days. As I’m sure you can imagine, hurricanes are 👎🏽 for outside ceremonies! But I was pleasantly surprised by how the change of plans fueled my creativity! Sometimes the unplanned, last minute switch-ups pay off ✨

Boundaries are important for this job. It’s easy to make this my entire life and forget about balance. I’ve gotten really good at knowing when and how to say no, as well as standing my ground on fighting for my worth and doing what’s good for my energy while still serving my clients with unwavering support, service & love!

The process leading up to the day of an event is so important & it’s my job and my goal to make sure my clients feel confident & supported by the work that is put in on the front end. BUT where I do my best work is in the middle of the action.

My business is built upon creating beautiful spaces for intimate connections & memories to be made in support of the two people choosing a life together. The importance of my job is taking this off the plate of friends and family, as well as the couple, so they can truly enjoy each moment of this special event, curated just for them.

On the day of your wedding, I’m your biggest yes girl! You, your well-being, your desires, your vision are the most important thing to me & the center of my attention. I serve to give you the space to take it all in, take deep breaths, and to love & be loved on by your people!

Summer is fading too quickly & autumn is not coming quickly enough!! My heart is divided 😩

This summer was so sweet and transformative for me in a way that only this shoot with Charlotte Wedding Photographer] could capture. It was impromptu and fun and fully me ✨ these are photos I’ll look back on in my later years and think “that was the summer I got to know myself” and what a gift to walk into a new season with 🤍

These photos were taken by my bestie (I know I sing her praises nonstop on this account) in the entryway of my tiny casita. ✨ my creative process starts and ends in this space with each event, from consultation to ex*****on!

I almost never leave during wedding season, which has proven to be a challenge for my extroverted self — but nonetheless, I’m grateful to be able to create the life I want 🤍

The biggest thing about my little mountain home in my little mountain town is the willow tree in my back yard 🤍 Her name is Greta ✨

Weeping willows have a special place in my heart. In the first home that my parents bought together, my mom planted 2 weeping willows - one for me and one for my sister.

One of those followed us to our new home when I was 4 and stood tall and strong until my parents decided it was time to cut it down in recent years.

This 50 ft weeping willow that you see pictured was a sign to me that this little house could become a home. When I feel unsettled or lost, I look to this tree for grounding. I remember the depth of the roots, the strength of the trunk & breath, freedom and gentle movement of the branches. I’m reminded that I am all of those things.

I’m so grateful to for capturing me in my safest place 🤍
