Are y’all ready for a Weddings and Events spring round up??

Get somewhere comfy because you’re going to need a nap after reading this! 🤣

We started in April with back to back to back to back weekends of double (and one triple) balloon arches 😳… But that isn’t even the half of it y’all… Stay with me here!

We went into May/early June (the word May still makes me flinch)… Where we had FOUR weddings BACK TO BACK 😱😵 with one balloon arch each of those weekends as well!!!!

NOW here comes the part you might want to lay down for…… 🥁🥁🥁
My husband and I sold our house in March and MOVED IN MAY! 😳
We packed up 8 years and 2 kids worth of stuff and moved in my parents’ upstairs 😆
We did all of this the week between my 2nd and 3rd wedding that month. I still have no explanation as to how we did it besides fully relying on and trusting the plan God has for our lives no matter what crazy curveballs come our way and the love and help of our AMAZING family and friends! We truly owe my parents, brothers in law, and sister in law more than anyone could imagine.

There were tears of exhaustion, tears of happiness, tears of laughter through the tears of insanity, and tears of total gratitude.

Those tears of gratitude came when I thought of how one year ago I was doing 4-5 weddings a year. And there I was doing 5 in one season along with a newly added endeavor with my balloon arches. This business allows me to be a semi stay at home mom to my babies and work my schedule around family members and close friends who are willing to help me with my babies on the weekends while I am doing your events. This business allows me to be home for supper, bath time, and bed time with my boys. This business allows me to take my 6 year old that has just a few minor extra medical needs to every PT and OT appointment along with every specialist appointment any day of the week without having to take time off of work. But this business would not be a business without my clients. When I say that each of you hold a special place in my heart, know that I mean that and that is because you are the reason I am and have been able to do ALL of the things I’ve listed above!

With all of that being said……LET’S HEAD TO THE BEACH! 🏖😎🏝 I think we’ve earned it! See you guys in July!!!

Want to give a BIG thank you to Dr. Roy Terry for entrusting me with his wife’s surprise 50th last night!

Dr. Terry is a very busy man with the kindest heart. He wanted to do something very special for his sweet wife so he gave me a call and we made it happen! To know Cindy is to love her 🥰 My event planner heart was full last night after seeing the huge smile on her face the entire evening! 💕

A few details from the night…

When I plan any event I choose theme/decor with the guest of honor’s style and taste in mind! For this occasion, we knew that our guest of honor is a lover of fresh berries! (I once worked with her and happened to know that fresh berries are a lunch time staple for her 😉) Therefore I chose a Chantilly Cake which is a vanilla cake with a berry filling between each layer, iced with a mascarpone and cream cheese frosting, then topped with fresh berries! DELICIOUS! I decided to use extra fresh berries to elevate the appearance of our dessert table and then added berries to our cupcakes instead of using cupcake toppers. (Excellent alternative to greenery or cupcake picks that get thrown away at the end of your event.) For decor I went with a neutral color scheme to compliment our guest of honor’s elegance. I’ve never seen her that she wasn’t wearing pearls so I knew I had to incorporate them somehow. Floating pearls made for the perfect centerpiece!

A huge thank you to Rokabilly Coffee for their balloon business 🤗

We might have had to sled into town to get it done, but the color scheme they chose brightened everything up despite the cold, snowy morning!

So excited for this week’s forecast! All the happy things today! John Mayer on the CD player, a Guinness latte in hand, and sunshine outside! The Guinness is made with dark chocolate, hazelnut, and caramel. It’s great hot but try it iced with cold foam too!

Did a special balloon arch today for a very special addition to our family!

Ethan Wayne Blair your big, loud, crazy, southern family can’t wait to meet you sweet boy!!! 👶🏼💙

Each time a new baby is added to our family I think of how my precious Great Grandmother Avo would have loved watching all of these great and great great grandchildren run around and play together while she would giggle and say “Come give me some sugar!” We have been so blessed! 💕

CUSTOM BALLOON ARCHES are my JAM! Just give me a theme or color scheme and I’ll put my creative side to work! I absolutely love to bring what someone has envisioned to life!

These suckers have kept me crazy BUSY here lately! And I still find myself wishing I had more of them on my books! I have so much fun with them!

We celebrated an anniversary today!

Meet Nick and Kara Sircy 🤍

These two are very special to me for many reasons! They were one of the first weddings I did on my own. They fully trusted me to handle their wedding day so that they could enjoy their special day. I ran my legs all over that barn and nearly froze to death 😆

Y’all see that second picture?? That’s what makes all of the hard work that goes into my job worth it! Nick and Kara now have a precious baby boy! 💙 And I had the honor of planning his baby shower! That is the beauty of this profession…

Wedding Day Fun Fact/Story: It was cold the day of their wedding, but the plan was to do a short, sweet, and to the point ceremony outside. All day we went back and forth on what to do. I decided to set everything up for the outside ceremony and to have a back up plan in place. All day it just barely misted the rain. And that rain was COLD. About 30-45 minutes before the ceremony I decided to pull Kara aside and ask her what she wanted and to be honest. Her being her sweet, caring self as usual looked around then looked at me and said, “We have family members and friends who aren’t in the best of health and I don’t think it would be right to have them sit in the cold rain.” I said, “You got it.” And yelled as loud as I could that I needed as many strong men as I could get pronto! We got the arbor inside and up the stairs and I flipped the reception space into a ceremony space with 20 minutes to spare! To this day, I use this memory as motivation to push myself and give each wedding/event that I do 110% to make it all my client envisioned!

I love this little family so much! 💕 Happy anniversary sweet friends!

It’s been a busy last few weeks over here, but I didn’t want to let this one slip by!

We celebrated another one year wedding anniversary this past weekend! Dustin and Audrey are the most precious hearted people you will ever meet! To know them is to love them. Their ceremony was very much Christ centered and family oriented. It was absolutely beautiful in every aspect.

A few of my favorite details….Audrey’s grandfather officiated their ceremony making it very personal and heartfelt. As they stepped to the side to light their unity candle the congregation joined together in singing Amazing Grace (Chills still today y’all!). Her grandfather then asked both families to come up as they prayed over the newlywed couple.

I am so thankful to have been a part of this simply beautiful and happy day.

I feel like I should mention that this was the last wedding I did in 2020 before the arrival of our baby boy, Jesse Nat, just 7 weeks later… 🤪 Some might call me crazy, I just call it LOVING what I do. ❤️

A few sweet words from Audrey 🥰……

Lauren McCaleb was the reason our day was so very special! She took care of almost everything!! I was stress free, got to relax, and enjoy this wonderful day!! That was exactly the way I wanted it to be. Honestly, I don’t know what we would’ve done without her!! If you’re looking for a coordinator, you don’t need to look any further because she’s your girl!!

It is this precious couple’s one year anniversary so I feel it’s necessary to feature them today 🥰

A mutual friend in the wedding/event industry recommended my planning services to Heather. And I am SO grateful! One of my favorite parts of planning/coordinating someone’s special day is meeting new people (couples, family members, guests, vendors). Shawn, Heather, and their sweet kiddos will always be special to me. Even though we did not know each other before their wedding it was like I had known them for years! I even found myself a bit misty eyed during their ceremony (I don’t cry at weddings normally 😆) because I could just feel the genuine happiness and love they shared and was thrilled to see their sweet families become one.

It’s OFFICIALLY fall wedding season y’all!!! And I’m here for it 😉

Meet Aaron and Kelsey Presson! They had a DREAMY wedding last weekend! Kelsey opted for a rustic yet elegant theme in her ceremony and reception decor then accented with navy, burnt orange, and the warm tones in her florals. The perfect combo for end of summer/early fall weddings!

I’ve had this business page in the “holding tank” for over a year now and have never had the courage to actually launch it. But with encouragement from some of my biggest cheerleaders and of course my amazing clients I’m finally going to step out and really start marketing my business!
