Hello everyone! ♥️🌱

I’m excited to be more active here, and I wanted to start by introducing myself. My name is Carolina, but most people know me as Chef Wente.

Maybe it’s a cliché, but I truly am passionate about cooking. It’s more than just making food; it’s an alchemy of flavors and creativity that nourishes both body and soul. ✨

That’s why I believe the who cooks your food matters just as much as the what. I pour my heart and energy into every dish, which is why I left the fast-paced, often toxic restaurant industry. While I learned a lot there, the sexism and misogyny weren’t something I could tolerate. As a woman and immigrant in NYC restaurants, it was especially challenging.

Now, I cook on my own terms. I run my own business, where I create comforting dishes made with love and care. Think of it as elevated home cooking with a chef’s touch. ‍

Since graduating from the prestigious Institute of Culinary Education (ICE), I’ve been constantly honing my skills through courses and experience. I’m dedicated to bringing you the best possible culinary experience.
