BREAKING: The Storm Prediction Center has upgraded portions of CenTex to a level 3 enhanced risk for Severe thunderstorms this afternoon through this evening. After nearly nine months in Stage 2 Drought Conditions, the City of Belton has moved to Stage 1 Drought Conditions thanks to recent rainfall. While the water elevation at Belton Lake has improved, we remain under mild drought conditions.

Early voting is underway for a Special Election on Proposition "A," which seeks to change the alcohol laws in Belton to allow the legal sale of all alcoholic beverages, including mixed beverages.
The early voting location is Belton City Hall, 333 Water Street. Early voting days and hours are:
April 22-26, 2024, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
April 29-30, 2024, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

What an incredible night it was at Bold Republic Brewing Company for the 4th of July. My mini pop up was so lovingly supported by yall, and the firework display was amazing.
