Give a big CIAOOOO to this year’s Pro-X Summer Interns, helping out during our entire run of the Heart of America Shakespeare Julius Caesar production. As many of their first jobs, this group of local high schooler’s are learning the ins and outs of what it takes to keep a food truck operation timely and efficient for such a major festival.

From customer service, safe food handling, filling crepes, mixing sodas, and firing up the grill, every day is a new learning experience for them and we are thrilled to have them on our team this month!

And let’s not forget all the laughs they give us too! Grazie mille Interns, and Pro-X for creating such an awesome employer-mentorship program 💙

This time for Heart of America Shakespeare Festival 32nd season, Julius Caesar is coming to Southmoreland Park, from June 11 – June 30! 🎭 We’re so excited to serve up fresh crepes for this month-long tradition. In the morning we will be parked outside of Bella Patina in the West Bottoms from 9am to 1pm. Later in the evening catch us at City Dogs KC from 5pm to 8pm, and be sure to bring your pups! 🐾

SUNDAY ONLY: we will be testing out new seasonal Cannoli flavors! Matcha, Raspberry Lemon, and Almond. Come try them all and let us know what you think 💙

Look who’s back in Kansas City! Ciao, Mattia!! Mattia comes to Kansa City from Ragusa, Sicily about once a year to lend a helping hand with our food truck. After all, he is about as authentic Siciliano as you can get! Not to mention, a crepe extraordinaire. Come join us at our upcoming events and be sure to give Mattia a wave and say Ciao while he’s in town.

This Saturday, our food truck will be serving crepes at TWO wineries! First up, we’ll be at the Colten Foster Fundraiser at Holy-Field Vineyard & Winery in Basehor, Kansas from 11am to 2pm. Later that evening, join us for crepes and wine at Jowler Creek Vineyard & Winery from 5pm to 8pm.

Say ciao to our crepe extraordinaire, Maeve! She’s been on the truck since day 1 and was duly named Operations Manager at just 16! Maeve LOVES baking and makes a pretty mean meringue. She worked with us until her graduation last year and is now only making spotlight cameos whenever we are lucky enough to have her. Grazie mille, Maeve! We couldn't have gotten this far without you!
